Nepeta sounded eager about something, and that made Roxy curious. She was mewling about costumes and roleplay. That sounded like a lot of work.

Downing some wine, she placed the glass down on the kitchen counter reluctantly, before moving to the living room to find her partner presenting them said outfits.

The cat-like alien held out a costume for Roxy. It was a stereotypical oversized wizard's cloak, with stars and everything.

Roxy took it, then pulled it in over her usual clothing. Fixing her hair slightly, she watched as Nepeta just ignored the cat suit.

A bit irked, Roxy fixed her wizarding cap, "I'm doin' this, so you have to dress up, too!"

"But I'm already a 'purrfect' representation of a cat!" Nepeta whined slightly, earning just a quick glare.

The blond knew she'd need some wine soon. But she sucked it up for her crush, picking up the dinky magic wand.

"Alright, I'll play along." They backed away from each other, and Roxy just gave a look to Nepeta. "What are we even gonna do?"

The cat lover hummed quickly in cute thought. She backed up a bit more, then got in a defensive stance, "We fight in a big battle, of course!"

That wouldn't be the case, because they were just hanging out right now, but this could be fun. It always was fun with Nepeta about.

Roxy gave a shake of the cheap wand, "Abracadabra!" She laughed in her already practically tipsy state, and got the same response.

It sounded so sweet. Was she really that happy about this duel? Roxy nodded slowly, then awaited her opponent's move.

Nepeta rushed at her, but then instead hugged her. It made her rock to the side from the churning force. Falling on the couch, Nepeta climbed on her lap eagerly.

The cat alien giggled, "How 'a-mew-sing'!"

Rolling her eyes a bit at that, the woman let then stay there. It was like having a child as someone to date! But deep down she didn't mind. She... deeply cared Nepeta. She'd never say it out loud, but it was too late to ever go back to a life without this creature.

That life sounded horrid. Especially since she wouldn't get to rub noses, or get a purring girlfriend that made no sense.

They cuddled as they sometimes kissed. Quick ones, because any further got Nep embarrassed. That wasn't pretty. Though otherwise she was beautiful.

Ignoring the call to go get her alcohol to keep up her way if getting through the day, Roxy leaned in to kiss Nepeta one last time before her world got blurry.
