Anti-NaruSaku?

To be with her

It all seemed so perfect… she seemed like his dream girl. Every day he would look at her, and he thought he could see their perfect future together. They would fall in love, have a family, and die old. All of it, together. Her short, pink hair. Her lovely green eyes, everything about her was right.

So..why wasn't she the one to save him? To tell him those words he wanted to hear? Who would of thought that she didn't even feel the same way. Of course, he knew all along her feelings for the Uchiha bastard. But… deep down inside him, he felt as if she would see him.

So..why wasn't she the one to see him? To see how hard he tried to achieve his goals? No thought that she was so blind. Sure, she was literally blind, but blind enough to not see how he tried. His goals meant the world to him. Being Hokage, it meant being noticed. Something the pink haired girl failed to see.

She was the reason he would try…try so hard to bring back the one she really loved. Why was he doing it? He really liked her…and with that bastard gone, he had all the time he needed to make her his.

So..why didn't he even try to make a move? To tell her his true feelings? Simple.

She saved him. Not his pink haired crush…. It was her. Sakura didn't save him, but she did. Sakura didn't tell him those words, but she did. Sakura never saw him, never noticed how hard he tried to achieve his goals, but she did. That shy, timid, beautiful princess… saw everything.

She was almost going blind because of her Byakugan, but yet she saw him. She noticed every detail about him that made him…him. He changed her, and she changed him. He made up so many stupid excuses in his head while he saw her fight for his protection… his life.

She was the light that showed him his way out of the darkness. She was the sun. She was Hinata. Now, here she was. Admitting her love to him, giving him her reasons. She was standing strong, not showing any sign of fear, or backing down. He was her Naruto, and no one messes with him. Especially the Akatsuki.

Yet… he couldn't believe it. Stupid, because believe it was his motto. So, why didn't he even believe her words? His past was filled with regret… no one wanted him, and no one even talked to him. Yet, she never did anything to him to make him feel unaccepted. She made him feel welcomed, wanted, needed.

He watched as her fragile body was hit with Pain's attack, and thrown into the air. No…he wasn't going to watch her die. He was going to do something. Even if he was held down by stakes, he was going to do something.

Sakura wasn't his dream girl. Not even. This beautiful, shy, timid girl was. So why didn't he make any move to make Sakura his? Simple.

Because he wanted to be with her.

His princess.

Takes place during the confession. I tried to make this as best as I could. I used to be a BIG NaruSaku fan. Really, I was huge on them. I would bash the NaruHina, now looking back, it was stupid. I only liked NaruSaku because I felt as if they had more of a chance of being canon. But even that is a stupid reason. They have no connection, and they certainly don't mix together. And this chapter, the Confession, proved it to me. Lol. My little speech. So…im NaruHina, because they have connection :P
