The hedgehog ran faster, then looked around.
'Here looks safe', he thought.
As he slowed his pace, he saw a young linx training in the forest.
"Hi!", the Hedgehog called out.
The linx lost her balance, then... she made a run for it.
The Hedgehog made in her direction, but he couldn't quite reach her...

"Wow, she's faster then you, Sonic!?" Tails didn't believe it.
"Yeah, I couldn't believe it either...", Sonic replied. "I'm gonna go tell Sal. See you later." "Bye!", said Tails.

A knock came at Sally's door, and she opened it. "Hey, Sonic!"
"Hey", Sonic replied, "Can I come in?"
"Sure!"
"Sally..."
He then proceeded to relate what he had told Tails about the events of earlier that day.
When he had finished, Sally only replied disbelievingly,
"I never thought anyone could be faster than you, Sonic..."
"Tails said the same thing."

Meanwhile, in New Mobotropolis, screams rang throughout much of the city.
This was where our linx had gone off to.
She had just finished helping a rabbit and her mother, along with their pet chao, out of a flaming building.
"Thank you so much, Miss!" The rabbit sincerely voiced.
"No problem. I'd better go, now.", the linx replied.
"Bye!" "Chao, chao!", Cream and the chao waved as
the linx dashed off to help a elderly mouse.

"I have to find out who's doing this!" She said a prayer. "Please help me." She continued on her way, and found a
small fox hiding from its mother. "Hello?", the linx called out. "What's your name?" "K-King. What's yours?"
"Clement."
