Chapter One, It began with a dream.

Laura Spurway was a strange kid. She was a dreamer. But she wasn't human. Well not all. Meanwhile, Shark Boy had been stopped in time whilst Lava Girl died she passed her powers onto a hybrid, Laura. She had every power but one that came with her humanity, dreaming.

Max dreamt up Planet Drool, but once he had grown up, it shrivelled away. Shark Boy lived because he wandered the seas on Earth. He was as handsome as ever, yet he had grief to scar him because his father had sank in the ocean searching for his long lost son. Everything for him had died. He had no hope except when Laura was his wake up call to the true world and who he was meant to be.

LIfe was bad but I think we should start from the beginning. . .

Laura was swimming, daydreaming as always, and she saw a colony of sharks. Well she just thought they were a part of her imagination and tied to swim closer breathing in the ocean. She could breathe under the water and talk too. Being a hybrid, so she tried to swim off. But they were too used to it and when she looked again she had her back to the wall and they had tied seaweed round her ankles. They began dragging her through the thrashing waves to a cave.

A boy, sixteen at least, sat on an island in the cave as the sharks shoved me at his feet. His six pack was sturdy and it looked like someone had sculpted it, his gills tanned, his fin on his back was the same colour as the great whites. Yet his face was handsome, no sign of stubble, eyes dark as chocolate and hair in a wild style of spikes. He bent down, untied the seaweed and stood me up.

"Boys, why is a beautiful girl like her doing here?" he barked at the group of sharks.

The biggest swam forwards, "She heard us talking and could breathe underwater, strange, she hasn't got a fin like us Sharkboy."

I looked at it, "She has a name you know and it's Laura. So Sharkboy, why am I here?"

He ripped the sides of my shirt to find my gills, "Well, I need to find Lavagirl and Max and get back to Planet Drool? A gilled girl was told to know, well start talking." He smirked and sat on a rocky throne with fishbones here and there.

"Okay, Lavagirl? She died before I was born, and we are sort of related, I have her powers and Max's they had kids together and they gave some of their genetics too me. They all died when Max stopped believing in Planet Drool and Lavagirl grew too weak. They both died because he was connected to her so when Planet Drool went, my dreamworld is the only existing one. I am a dreamer. Now can I go?" I tried to walk to the edge but Sharkboy was in front of me, grabbing my hand, his bare hands smooth yet burned and abused.

"Laura, so they are gone. How could I not know? Last thing I remember, I was trying to get home to my father and when I hit Antartica, nothing happened and I went out. A month, well what I thought was a month when it had been sixteen years. The sharks found me and had told me they didn't know sanyting." He brushed some hair out of my face. "So, do you forgive me for my rudeness?" I nodded and he motioned for me to dive into the ocean with him.
