This is an Inuyasha fanfiction. I do not own Inuyasha and this story was an
idea I had. Please review and let me know what you think and if you want me
to keep writing. Thanks and enjoy!
Chapter 1
It was a cold winter night and Kagome had just come back to her own time of present Japan and was trying to fall asleep. She had been up all day and night for the past few weeks while she was in feudal Japan and was extremely tired as well as happy to be home. "How can I go on like this?" cried Kagome as she dropped her bag onto the ground and feel into bed. "I feel my body getting weaker from all the running and fighting I have to do to keep up with Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku (thankfully Shippo was small and light), I know that Naraku is still trying to kill me, the shards are not yet back together, and even though everyone says that Inuyasha is in love with me, there is no way he can love with because Kikyo is still in his heart and all I can do is just be by his side at all times." Cried Kagome into her pillow. "Kagome!" called a women's voice from down stairs. "What Mom!" "There is someone here to see you" Kagome looked at her clock. It was 11 at night. "Who could it be wanting to see me this late?" she wondered. "All my friends think I'm sick with some type of virus or something." She got up to go meet who ever it was. When she walked down the stairs, she looked around and saw no one. She looked at her mother with a face asking her what kind of joke was this. "He's outside, Kagome. Go talk to him." Said her mother. Kagome opened the door and walked out side. She still didn't see anyone but the feeling that someone was there was very clear to her.
"Where you asleep or something?" asked a male voice from behind the sacred tree. A dark shadow came out from behind the tree. As it stepped into the light, the body of the hanyou, Inuyasha came into view. "What are you doing here?" Kagome asked. "I came to get you. You are needed back in feudal time fast. Go and get the rest of the shards, NOW!" screamed Inuyasha. "Alright! You don't have to yell." Called Kagome as she turned and went back inside to get the shards and re-fill her bag. As she ran back down stairs, her mother grabbed her arm and ask her, "Do you think you will be coming back after this time?" Kagome just looked at her with a confused expression and finally said, "Of course I'm coming home. Why wouldn't I?" With that her mother just hugged her and told her to hurry. As her mother just watched her walk out the door, Kagome's brother and her grandfather came around the corner. "What was that about?" said her Grandpa. "Yah, I mean, this is her home. She has to come back, doesn't she?" said her brother. "You'll see. Just a mother's intuition about her only daughter. Just wait and see." Said Kagome's mother With that, Kagome ran back out the door and met Inuyasha next to the same tree she left him at. They looked at each other and started back to the well and feudal era in which most of Kagome's life was now taking place. As they left present day Japan, all Kagome could think was "Why does he want me back right now and what was my mom talking about not coming back to stay?"
