A/N: Wow. This story... I'm not sure if it's actually in-character or not, but it is told from Zach's POV.

Disclaimer: Not mine. Sorry.

Prompt: Obvious, forlivejournal community 100(underscore)situations.

I tend to be pretty clueless when it comes to things like social customs. Although, with all the time I spent focused on my work, when was I supposed to be out learning those things? I don't have all the time in the world, you know.

But I digress.

There are some things so obvious that even I notice them.

Take Agent Booth and Dr. Brennan for example.

Now, neither Angela nor Hodgins had to point out to me the tension between those two. No, that attraction is quite apparent. It's actually utterly laughable the way that they try to hide it.

Whenever Booth enters the room, Brennan suddenly acquires this new… attitude, of sorts. Playing up her intelligence, things like that. Like she's trying to show off. She does it discreetly, almost in the way that Hodgins tries to look taller around Angela.

Now, don't even get me started on those two.

There's also the way Booth watches her when he thinks she's not looking. He gets a look in his eyes. Admiration? I think that's the word I'm looking for. Or is it adoration? One of those two.

But he only thinks she's not looking. I can tell by the way her hands shake that she can feel him watching her. He makes her nervous. And while that's rather sweet and all, it tends to affect her work sometimes.

And when the two of them fight? It's rather saddening to see the way they act when they've gone without each other for awhile. They seem almost as if a part of them is missing.

Anyway, I believe I've proven my point. The two belong together; it's only a matter of time.

Angela says July and Hodgins bet August, but my money's on October.
