ufc Rules/FAQ
All rules are set to create an environment for intelligent discussion and debate. Any deviation from the rules will result in a warning or ban, decided at the administrator/moderator's discretion.
Rules 2. No advertisements of any kind in posts or signatures unless prior consent is given by the site owner. 3. No fighter bashing of any kind. This includes referees. We expect all members to show respect for the amount of hard work, time, and effort it takes to be a professional fighter. We understand if you dislike a fighter and voice factual information that you disagree with, but we will absolutely not tolerate comments such as this fighter "is a bum" or "a fat loser". Please show more respect for fighters who lay it all on the line to step into a ring or octagon. 4. No postwhoring. If you don't have something intelligent to add to the thread, don't bother posting in it. 5. No posting of Private Messages under any circumstances. 6. No posting links, images, or videos of pornographic content. 7. No posting videos or links to direct downloads of videos containing copyrighted material. 8. Don't start threads with little to no value, such as 'Ortiz won, and yall knew I was right. Either contribute to a conversation or don't post. This is also known as spamming, and not only is in bad taste, but gives other members a poor opinion of you. 9. Please do not create duplicate topics. For example, after a PRIDE event, don't start a thread called 'Fedor is a beast' if there is already a topic titled 'Fedor defends PRIDE belt for the 90th straight time'. Use judgement accordingly.
1. No cursing or verbally attacking/harassing another member for any reason. If you are having an issue with a member, let a mod know and the situation will be handled accordingly.
FAQ 2. Avatars: No offensive content or nudity allowed. The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 293.0 KB (whichever is smaller). Please do not take other members avatars or take avatars from the request thread unless it was specifically made for you.
1. Signatures: All members are allowed : 1 fighting related signature image with a max resolution of 600 x 150 pixels. Or, a maximum of 1 fight related URL, although it may not link to a site that contains a forum in competition with Fight Forum, a fight gear or DVD store, or affiliate program. Members may also use plain text as their signature as long as it would fit within the 600 x 150 area normally allotted to signature images. Regardless of signature type, absolutely no offensive content or nudity is allowed. Signatures may not be used to deliberately attack or offend another member or fighter.
