I thought you would leave me in the chamber of secrets so as to not risk your life,

never really thanked you for that,
But you didn't.

I thought you would stop being kind to me when you and Ron got into a fight,
But you didn't.

I thought you would underestimate me when you started Dumbledore's Army,
But you didn't.

I thought you would look upset when I replaced you as seeker,
But you didn't.

I thought you would laugh when I came to quidditch tryouts the next year,
But you didn't.

I thought you would always think of me as your best friend's little sister,
But you didn't.

I thought you would get mad after I yelled at you when you broke up with me to keep me safe,
But you didn't.

I thought I'd say thank you for everything when you came back from the war with Voldemort,
