Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.
As one of thousands of hair on your head, as one of million drops in the sea, as one of billions of leaves fallen from the trees in the forest , I found you, just you of all people in the world. Here. As your gray eyes, filled with regret, were looking with deep despair into the cold night and didn't seem to react to my movements, I slowly walked to your side.
As your body was still and frozen, as your face was cold as a stone, the hair on your arms rose when I slowly sat down next to you and desperately tried to connect to your mind.
It was then I understood that you were a hole, a big black empty hole, that called for something to fill it with. It wasn't even night, but the hairs on your arm still stood up as I lay my hand on your shoulder waiting for you to accept my respect. It was then a lonely tear slowly slid down on your cheek, waiting for another to come before it got too heavy and fell down on to your knee. You sat with your arms loose around your knees, unaffected by the cold October morning. The frosty leaves on the ground told us that you can live your whole life out fullest and still shine with pride.
It was then the air around us became warmer, it was then I felt something change. I took away my hand and mimicked your position. I looked away from your eyes but I felt that you had started looking again. You opened your mouth as you said just one simple sentence to me, and from that moment on our lives changed forever.
'I never hated you.'
Somehow, I had knew this all along, but the tiny black hole in my heart faded away and now was replaced with longing and that was enough for me to breathe again. And as one of only two chances, I accepted your request of being a part of your life. To look beyond the past and try to build a different future.
We sat close but we weren't touching. Our minds seemed to connect as you let out a condign sob when our eyes slowly met. The only other sound that seemed to reach our ears was the sound of silence.
And then my hands were in your white hair, your hands around my neck and your lips crashed onto mine.
And you were shining again.
