Kaiba never closed his eyes when they kissed, which was perfectly fine with Jounouchi; that way he could keep his own amber pair open.
It wasn't that he didn't want to close his eyes when their lips met. It was hard enough to remember to breath, let alone keep his eyes open; however, with them open he could see the moment when Kaiba's normally icy view melted into the soft perfect blue aimed his way. That moment, when nothing else mattered except for the two of them and Kaiba's mask lifted.
He was happy; no one else ever saw it.
