Rating: I dunno… PG I guess

Summary: Casey has a problem…

Feedback: Please!

AN: This is my first fic ever, so it has a very stupid storyline and is quite short. I just wanted to see whether I could write anything! Sorry for any mistakes. Please let me know what you think, no flames please, I believe in constructive criticism lol!

"Danny?"

"Yeah, Case?"

"What should I do?"

"About what?" Dan replied, engrossed in writing that night's script.

"You know what! Dana!" Casey hissed back quietly, aware that the door was open and Natalie could be anywhere, listening in. She was good at that, it seemed, she found everything out somehow. Her and Dan seemed pretty close lately though, maybe she was getting inside information-

'Snap out of it!' his mind screamed, 'You know Danny would never say anything, he's your best friend for God's sake!'

"I really don't know, Case, she seemed pretty mad at the last rundown, I'd leave it for a coupla hours, then talk to her…"

"But it wasn't my fault! How was I supposed to know that she was in there?"

"It's her office! You were the one that knocked the water over her in the first place! Why didn't you knock?"

"I was thinking about a joke for tonight's script, just walked in…and…she was…you know…"

"Naked, yes, I know."

"I mean, it's not like I haven't seen it before…"

"I don't think Dana sees it that way…"

"…she looked great though…"

"Maybe you should apologise? At least then we might be able to get some work done without analysing everything about you two?"

"Hey! I didn't complain when you went on about Rebecca, even though I knew she wasn't right for you. Then, when the bitch messed with your head, I was there for you, wasn't I?"

"I'm sorry. And she wasn't that much of a bitch," Casey laughed at that comment, and Dan glared at him. Casey made a continue motion with his hands, so Dan carried on, "she just didn't know what she wanted. Or who, as it turned out…"

"Yeah, well, whatever. I was there for you, wasn't I? It's your turn now."

"Okay, okay! I don't wanna argue with you! Just wait 'til the next rundown, then talk to her after and say you're sorry, that you never meant to walk in on her and then slip in a compliment that'll make her feel good and forget that she's supposed to be mad at you. Simple, so you should be able to manage it." Dan finished innocently.

"Very funny. Thank you. I might go now, it's only 15 minutes 'til the next rundown, I can speak to her before." Casey spoke, standing up and heading towards the door.

"'Kay. Have you finished your script or dya want me to do it? I've almost done mine, and you know how crazy they get when you give it 'em late."

Casey turned around. "Yeah man, thanks. I owe you." And walked through the door.

"Good luck!" Dan shouted at his retreating back. "You're gonna need it…" he added under his breath.
