It was midnight and Eve went to the lake near Amazon's Village for haing a bath under the moonlight, so she slowly removed her clothes and entered the water, relaxing herself after a day really stressfull.
She fought a group of Romans, with her mothers Xena, her natural mother and Gabrielle and, while they were sleeping, or doing other things, in their hut, directly assigned them by the Amazon Queen, she decided to leave her own hut for having a bath.
But the sund of steps approaching the lake make her in guard and she reached for her sword and she stood up instantly when the person was just in front of her "Hey! Calm down... It's me."
Varia, the Amazon who she didn't kill when she was Livia, is here "Oh... Excuse me." Said Eve, relaxing.
"Ok and excuse me too. I scared you..."
Eve smiled a bit "Ok, don't worry. I't's ok."
Varia smiled too and started to remove her own clothes and Eve looked for a moment at the Amazon, then she entered the water "It's really cool... The water is fantastic and... The company is really good." Said the Amazon, winking at Eve.
The Messenger of Eli smiled tenderly and the two girls stay silent for a while... Just when Varia decided to play with the water and she splashed Eve "Hey!" Exclaimed the brunette, surprised "What are you doing?"
"Nothing... I just want to play..." Answered Varia, splashing Eve again.
"Ok... I accept the challenge!"
The two played like children, ignoring a presence behind a tree "Look at them... They enjoyed so much their respective company."
"Yeah, you're right..." Smiled Xena and Gabrielle did the same.
"They're just perfect together... Perfect paired."
"Paired? Hey, what are you...?" Started to ask Xena, but Gabrielle stopped her, pointing with the two girls.
And, in the lake, Varia blocked Eve's wrists and they are face to face, breath on each other's mouths "Eve..." Whispered Varia.
The Amazon kissed tenderly the brunette, then she looked down, into the water "Don't do it... I killed your sister... And you want to give me your love, your heart... I can't accept it."
"Livia killed Tura, not you."
"I was Livia... I killed your sister!"
"You are Eve, now. And I like you so much... I love you so much!"
Eve looked directly into Varia's eyes "You love me? Really?"
"Yes, of course. I love you so much, Eve! And probably your mother will kill me for that... But i won't refuse my feelings for you!"
Eve embraced Varia "I love you too. And don't worry about my mother... She wants my happiness, so she's going to accept our love."
"I hope it." Smiled Varia, then the two shared a passionate kiss, under the moonlight.
And Xena smiled too, when the shock passed "You know what, Gabrielle?"
"Mh? What I have to know?"
"I think we're going to have a new member in our group..."
Gabrielle smiled sweetly "Yeah, I'm agree!" Answered the Bard, taking Xena by the left arm "But now... Just return to our hut! The night isn't end."
