Sapphire eyes collided with electric aquamarine. Time seemed to slow down. The silver-white hair flowed loose in the wind. The wisps of hair seemed to melt, impossibly, into the sky of pinks and oranges and reds. Petal soft lips parted in response to something—someone.

And then he came into view.

A demi-god; a vision of innocence. There was burnt caramel hair and lapis lazuli eyes that glittered with mirth, amusement of for his friend's indifference. Sun kissed skin and cracked, chapped lips worked against each other for overall appearance. A nest of gravity defying spikes sat on top of the young boy's lovely head. Full, thick lashes cast shadows over rounded cheeks, and a cotton candy colored tongue snuck out of Claire rose lips to wet them. His immaculately arched eyebrows furrowed with the effort to bring his companion's attention back to him.

The white haired boy moved a fraction of an inch, and the visual spell was broken. He was just a boy standing predatorily over his friend, and she was just the girl that washed up on the beach. He moved further away, further down to where—she guessed—the duo was originally venturing to. The brunette laughed merrily, happy to have regained his friend's attention. He ran a few steps down the sidewalk before turning around and noticing her. A smile stretched over his face and he laughed, waving. Then he turned around and kept running.

The silence was broken, and she heard a car in the distance. Sapphire looked into electric aquamarine. Champagne Moment lips moved to mutter:

"Mine."

ColorfulAlgebra: There. I churned out another. :D It's only a mock prologue, so there won't be an actual story, but that's fine by me. Plus, I neglected to do Biology in order to write this so... Onward to my lab!!
