Author's Note:
Hey guys. I'm back with yet again another poem. Have you ever forgotten what happened in your life and you now don't remember exactly what happened? Sometimes, I do forget things but my memories can restore themselves. Why? Because I have a photographic memory.
Anyways, this poem is comparing how the Forgetters and MiB (Men In Black) are the same and different.

There are people who work in the Mind World of 12 year old Riley Andersen
In Long Term memory, there are a lot of shelves of memories that are color coded
Yellow for joyful and happy
Blue for despair and sad
Purple for terrifying and afraid
Green for revolting and gross
And red for hateful and mad
When Riley doesn't seem to care about a memory, it fades and we, the Forgetters have to send the faded memories to the Memory Dump
Which is below Headquarters, where the five emotions work to keep Riley happy
In a parallel universe, there is a secret organization that monitors the arrival of extraterrestrials that come on Planet Earth
We are no longer part of the system
We are above the system
Over it
Beyond it
Were them
Were they
We are the Men In Black
Whenever someone experiences an alien encounter, that is where we come in
We have to erase the person's memory of that alien encounter
By using a device called the neurolyzer
The red eye triggers the electromagnetic pulse in the brain, including the ones from memory
When one person gets neurolyzed, we have to make up a new memory to cover the one that was erased
Once you get neurolyzed, you can't get deneurolyzed
Just remember that we are
The Men In Black
And we won't let you remember
(So, the Forgetters and the Men In Black work in the same department. Though, usually when we forget something, we can't restore it back to its original form. Hope that you enjoyed the poem and please stay tuned for more.)
