Dark Knight

Rating: G (PG at the most)

Fandom: Hellsing

POV: Alucard

Summary: Just a bit of poetry that came to me when I thought of Alucard. It's not Alucard that's actually saying this, it's just a poem that's sort of Alucard-esque.

--------------------------------------------

You had expected a savior,

You had expected a protector,

Expected a dark knight in armor,

To save you from all the horrors around you.

Surprise is what I see,

Before that icy façade comes back,

You can't hide that innocence from me,

It's still there shining through your eyes.

Considered a monster by others,

A king and master to some,

But only a slave or servant to you,

A master to me I consider you.

I'm bound and weakened,

To one of those I consider weak,

Yet you're different from the rest,

Those, and you, who'll disappear in a blink.

After a hundred years, I'll still remember,

After two hundred, I still might,

Three hundred who knows?

I know I would still want to.

I offer you a way to stay forever,

I offer what most would want,

I offer while you refuse,

Even when you suffer.
