Sunshine and Shadow
Gríma lurked in shadows and around corners. Éowyn spoke loudly and made her presence known. The more Gríma adored her, the more Éowyn despised him. She spoke his name mockingly. He worshipped hers. She laughed at him to his face. He laughed at her behind her back. For what she did not know yet was that one day, their roles would be reversed. One day, she would plead at his feet and he would not mock her, but would raise her up and love her and protect her and care for her. For now, he watched sunshine from the shadows.
