Draco P.O.V ...
He sat slumped against the Big Oak beside the Black lake at midnight. His white blond hair was glistening in the sunlight. His hands were smudged from homework, as the 5th years O.W.L.'s were coming up soon. 'Where the bloody hell is she at?' Draco thought angrily, he sent her an owl after dinner saying that he need her to meet him here at this time. It was a simple letter really, anybody in thier right mind would be able to understand it. 'I guess she isn't in her right mind then.' He chuckled,
at the absurdity of him saying that Hermione Granger, the bookworm was not in her right mind.
Hermione P.O.V ...
Dear Hermione,
I have got something to dicuss with you, love. Can you meet me at midnight beside the lake? I love you.
-D ...
Hermione stared at the letter wondering if she really should go. Yes, she loved Draco. But she couldn't sneak around anymore and he didn't want to admit to his friends that he was dating a mud- a muggleborn. She then decided that even if she loved him, she had to let him go.
It was a few minuets after midnight when she showed up amd sat beside Draco, staring at the Black lake. It was queit for a few moments. "Draco," Hermione sighed. She hated this. "Draco, we can't do this anymore." she said painfully, Hermione was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Draco Malfoy. "Do what?" he asked stupidly, glancing at Hermione's frustrated features. "This Draco! Sneaking around, acting as though we hate each other when we really don't!" She sighed loudly, Frustrated. "Hermione-" Draco pleaded. "No. I can't...We never talk to each other except at night and when we are trying to pretend that we hate each other! I can't stand it when you have to call me a 'Mudblood'," she spat out the word. "Just to live up to your name...Face it, we will never truly be together. Your Parents Draco! Your friends..they would turn against you! You would be a blood traitor!" She breathed heavily not letting Draco interrupt not even once. "Hermione, I love you! I don't care about them! I'll be a blood traitor, Hell I already am one!" "No. You do care, You care much more about their opinions much more than I care about Harry, or Ron's or the Weasley's. And that's why Im saying goodbye." A tear dripped unwillingly out of her eye. "Mio-" He was cut off as she launched herself into him, kissing him passionately. After several minuets, to short a time for them, they broke aparts and rested their heads against each others. "I love you" said Draco. "As I love you. Bye Draco..." She kissed him once more, and faded to the darkness.
Draco staring after her.
