Hope you like it. It's a bit short but very sweet.

Welcome Home
"Goodbye," Ed murmured, grabbing his stuff and walking over to the door.
"Bye, Ed," everyone replied.
He walked out of the central and headed toward his house. The house he and Roy shared. Ed smiled sadly as the thought of Roy came again. He tried to hold back some tears that threatened to fall. Roy had been enlisted in the military for the War with the East, and Ed couldn't bear the thought of losing him. Roy was his everything.
With the promise of coming back alive, Roy finally departed almost half a year ago, and Ed hadn't recieved any news. All he could do was just to wait and hope he was okay. Roy was an expertise in the battle field, being a hero of the Ishball war. But war was war, the probilities of getting killed being very high. Ed had cried almost every night, knowing that the chanses of losing him were almost the only. He had recieved support from his brother, Winry, and everyone back at the central. But despite everything, the hole in his heart wasn't able to heal.
He kicked a few rocks in the way, and shoved his hands in his pockets. Home was just a few blocks away, but coming home was the most painful part of the day, knowing Roy wouldn't be there to hug him. He remembered Roy's face the day he left. His eyes bared the saddest expression Edward had ever seen. Ed himself had cried. Roy simply kissed him and told him everythig was going to be okay. Ed nodded.
Finally arriving to his house, Ed reached into his coat's pocket and grabbed the key. He introduced it and turned the knob. He turned on the light and sighed, closing his eyes.
"I'm home," he said, kicking off his boots. It was the habit of always, and even though Roy was not home, Edwas wasn't going to drop it, even though the fact that he hadn't recieved a reply for the past six months almost destroyed him inside.
"Welcome home."
Edward's eyes flew open as he was taken completely by surprise. He turned to find Roy standing perfectly neat even though his har was as unkempt as ever, dressed in his military uniform, and a bouquet of roses in his hands. His face had just a few scratches and a bruise was just fading away in his right cheek, but apart from it, he was as perfect as always. He had a his characteristical smirk plastered in his lips.
Edward was speechless.
All he could do was run into Roy's arms. He knocked the flowers out of Roy's hands, but he couldn't careless. He just burried his face into the older man's chest. Roy changed his smile into a warm one, as he rested his chin over Ed's head and wrapped the smaller man in his arms. He picked Ed up and the blonde hooked his legs around Roy's slender hips and he shifted his head to the dark-haired man's shoulder, where he started to sob uncontrolably.
Roy's eye shed a tear as he gently craddled in his arms the one he loved. He took Ed's head in his hands and kissed the boy's lips for the first time in a very long while.
He was finally home.
