Unsuspecting Victim

Words: 500

Summary: Morgan hates Halloween, but this year he decides to take a different perspective and find his own way to celebrate. How does he plan to do that? By going on a date with a gorgeous woman of course. He plans for the evening go off perfectly, but things never go as planned. Morgan is about to become the victim of an unbelievable surprise.

"Can't wait for tonight!" Morgan exclaimed as he leaned back in his chair.

"I thought you hated Halloween," pointed out Prentiss.

"Not this year because I decided to find my own way to celebrate."

"How will you celebrate?"

"With a hot date." Morgan wagged his eyebrows as he made his statement.

"Where did you meet this one?" Morgan chose to ignore the blatant disdain dripping from Emily's words.

"Well, it's a blind date kinda….we met online, but by the way that she describes herself she is definitely my type."

"Whatever, Romeo. Good luck with this latest train wreck."

Morgan sat at the table waiting for his date to show up. He had dressed up in a costume as the lovely lady that he was waiting for had suggested. Something about being able to enjoy the festivities of the night. If it got him laid then okay.

It was a quarter after eight when Morgan's eyes landed on her. Her long hair hung straight down to her shoulders. Her legs were slim but firm. Her figure was perfect in every way. She spotted Morgan and made her way to the table.

"So you are Adonis32?"

"Yes I am. Nice to finally meet you beautiful."

"Well hopefully at the end of the date I can say the same." Morgan noticed an air of familiarity that he couldn't shake.

"You remind me of someone."

"Is that so? What is she like?" The brown haired angel leaned forward.

"Actually he is…amazing. His name is Spencer Reid."

"Wait what is his name?"

"Spencer. You know him?"

There was a momentary pause as the weight of the situation landed on the brunette, "Morgan."

"How do-"

"Because I don't know him. I am him." The lithe form removed the mask to reveal the BAU genius. He wore a horror stricken expression as he stared back at the still masked Derek. "I should have known it was you by the name."

"Wait why were you in a chatroom pretending to be a woman?" Morgan removed his mask.

"I wasn't. You were in a gay chatroom. I was looking for a hot date and ended up sitting across from my crush."

"Why are you dressed like a woman then?"

"Morgan its Halloween. The one day when I can be whoever I want without being judged."

"Okay I understand that. I just-wait did you just say crush?" Morgan wore a look of confusion. He was confused because he felt a flutter in his stomach at the thought of the awkward genius lusting after him.

"No, of course I didn't. You heard wrong. I said-I said…um I-I should go."

"No!" Morgan stopped to contain himself. "I mean you went looking for a hot date and here I am. So let's continue shall we?"

"Are you serious Mor-"

"Derek. It's Derek and yes I am serious beautiful." Derek gave his award winning smile hoping that it would sway Reid. Apparently it worked because the younger agent sat back down.

"So let's eat."
