A Hunger Games Poem

Where he lay I do not know.

All I know is he will go,

Go to the other side,

Where all 23 of them reside.

When I see him again,

I know my feelings will soon change again.

He is my weakness,

He is my light.

I find him again,

down by the riverside.

We struggle through the days.

Until we find victory.

But they tell us no.

One of us must go.

He wants me to live,

but I take out the berries,

\ that will put us in our final sleep.

Then we say our presumed final words,

Together.

They stop us,

and say the 22 will do.

Both of us can stay and play the game.

The Game that non of us want to play.

But there are much worse games to play.
