Went to the written exam... It went like shit... so while I was suppose to focus on different ways to date a mural this came about. I have a small ch. 2 if anyone is interested but it's not going beyond that. And, yeah... I'm gonna fail that's for sure...

Soulmates never die

"Iruka. Baby…!" Kakashi almost sang the last part out as he closed the front door. Now, where could that little dolphin be? It wasn't like the appartment was that big. Hallway: Occupied by one Hatake Kakashi, living legend. Kitchen: Occupied by dirty dishes and a shady looking fruit bowl. Living room: Occupied by Mr Ukki, silent genius. Bathroom: Occupied by towels and a laundry basket. Bedroom: Occupied by one beautiful dolphin, spread across bed. My, my, wasn't that a sight to behold, a good reward after such a thorough search. Kakashi hummed silently in approval and walked over to the bed. Well, it couldn't hurt taking a snooze for a couple of hours with his favourite person.
Kakashi removed his vest and hitae-ate, might as well lose the shirt too, he smirked to himself. You never know what could happen when that frisky chuunin woke up. It wasn't until he kneeled down on the bed that he felt something was terribly wrong. "Ruka?" the brown body didn't stir. Actually it didn't move in any way. Kakashi took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. There was a perfect explanation for this; he just had to find it. Slowly he moved his hand and grabbed Iruka's shoulder. Cold, was the first thing that came to mind. Another deep breath and he turned Iruka on to his back. Two dark misty eyes stared to the ceiling. Kakashi kept still, sitting on the bed hand still on Iruka's shoulder. Waiting. Tears made small paths down his uncovered face creating small droplets when they reached his saw, until the finally gave up and fell on the dark skin below. He was waiting. Waiting for Iruka to blink, to breathe, to smile, to cry, to yell, to frown, to scrunch his nose, to roll eyes, to move, to just breathe. But nothing happened.
