A/N: Short little thing for the fic exchange on xoxLewrahxox's forum. Prompt: A conversation between the prisoners (any prisoners at any time that Lord Voldemort had). For Thanatos Angelos Girl.

Disclaimer: Not mine.

"Ow!"
Ollivander stirred from his nap. "Luna? Are you alright?" His voice scratched his throat from lack of use and water.
"Oh, yes, Mr. Ollivander. Something just poked me. I bet it was a nargle, those crazy little creatures!" She chuckled a bit at her thoughts.
"A what dear?"
"Oh, they're these little creatures that Daddy and I study! They fly around causing mischief, and the best place to find them is mistletoe!"
Her voice became animated, and he laid his head back against the wall while she continued to tell him about the imaginary creatures.
When Ollivander awoke again, he called his companion's name, but she only sleepily mumbled in response.
As his eyes adjusted to their ever-dark prison, their earlier conversation floated to the front of his mind.
It obviously wasn't a nargle, he thought to himself. He'd never even heard the word before. There has to be something there, then.
He crawled around the sleeping girl, and patted his outstretched hand on the ground. A sharp jab in his ring finger told him he had found whatever it was. Carefully, the old man picked the small object, trying to discern its identity in the dark. It appeared to be a nail; rusty from the way he could feel his fingertips brush off crumbling, but still sharp, pieces of metal.
"Luna!" He exclaimed after a moment of thought, an idea popping into his head.
She roused, sitting up fast and mumbling, "Daddy?"
After she was fully awake, Ollivander explained to her his find. (I would cut this sentence all together, "After she was fully awake, Ollivander explained to her his find.")
"We can use it to cut off these ropes." He finished.
They cut each other's ropes, and placed the rusty nail back in the corner.
Ollivander rubbed his wrists, sore from the awkward positions they were forced into in his sleep.
"Thank you, Mr. Ollivander!" Luna said, moving her arms into long-unused positions.
The old man smiled to himself, and thanked the girl in his head.
