Hello, my dears. This is just my thought on the whole "imprinting" thing. It may not be your typical fic, but I hope you enjoy it nontheless.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Twilight. It is the property of Stephanie Meyer.
Happy endings
I've had a wonderful evening, but this wasn't it.

Have you ever sat in a wedding dress, in a room, crying? And not because your fiancee left you at the alter, but because he was so excited to have you, because he's loved you for so long?
Have you ever thought about the boys you met in school, the boys you touched, loved, wanted, but couldn't have because he said they weren't good enough for you?
Have you ever celebrated your birthday, only to be kissed by a man who had helped raise you?
Have you ever wondered why one woman in your fiancee's "family" of sorts wasn't allowed to be by you?
Have you ever seen a woman with scars, caused by her husband, who loved him because he almost killed her?
Have you ever wondered why your friends didn't date more than one person?
Have you ever been threatened, just so you would marry your former babysitter?
Have you ever turned to drugs, to drinking, to cutting, anything just so you could forget about your so-called love?
Have you ever gotten up, smiling and happy, because he was your true love, and your feelings of hatred and fear couldn't stop that?
Have you ever tried to run?
Have you ever failed?
Have you ever been touched, hurt, miserable during your honeymoon?
Have you ever left a note saying "Anything is better than this hell" for your new husband?
Have you ever snuck out of the house and bought a rope?
Have you ever tied that rope to the ceiling?
Have you ever gotten up on a stool and tied the other end to your neck?
Have you ever kicked the stool?
Have you ever thought about your husband's face when he finds you?
Have you ever been pleased by that thought?
Have you ever died smiling?
Claire has.
Depressing? Possibly, but that's how I think imprinting will affect Claire.
Please note that if you review, tell me what you thought of my writing, not my take on the story. We all have different opinions, so let's just try to get along.
