As I was sprawled across the chair in my room, I noticed that everything looked different. Different, in a way that it looked as if I was in a cartoon. I stood up, then realized that I wasn't in my room anymore. It looked like I was in a tree house.
"Hahaha! Jake, stop it!" I heard a boy shriek.
"Never!" I heard another person shout.
'What is going on?' I thought. I went down the ladder, to see that Jake the Dog was wrapping himself around Finn (the human)!
"Woah! Am I in the land of Ooo?" I asked them.
At the sound of my voice, Finn and Jake stopped, turned around to look at me…then screamed!
"How'd you get into our house?!" Jake asked, staring wide eyed at me.
"Well, I stood up from a chair, and then I was here!" I replied in awe. "By the way, my name is Lilli." I said.
I noticed that Finn hadn't said anything, he just stared at me. I could tell that he was looking over every inch of me. My hat with dog ears, my blue shirt, my denim shorts, the parts of my brown hair that was sticking out from under my hat, and my blue braces. I was starting to get a little freaked out, so I said:
"Hey, Finn!"
"H-how do you know my name?" Finn replied, blushing.
"Oh… Erm… Lucky guess..?" I said, blushing profusely.
"Oh! Well… You want a tour guide for the land of Ooo? I know it pretty well!" Finn immediately responded.
"Sure!"
As Finn and I walked around in the Candy Kingdom, laughing and cracking off jokes, Finn blurted out:
"So, Lilli! I was wondering…Would you like to go for a ride on Lady Rainicorn
to watch the sunset?"
"Oh, glob yes!" I replied excitedly.
We made our way to Princess Bubblegum's castle, and asked Bubblegum if it was OK that we took a ride on Lady Rainicorn. She said yes, so Finn and I hopped onto Lady. As we watched the sun go down, I slowly inched closer and closer to Finn. When I was right next to him, I leaned my head on his shoulder and watched the candy-colored birds go by.
When night had fallen, Lady Rainicorn descended to the ground, so Finn and I got off. I gave Finn a huge hug and said:
"Thank you for everything, Finn!"
"You're welcome, Lilli. Also, I had something I wanted to say to you."
"Yes, what is it, Finn?!"
"Well… WAKE UP!"
"What?"
"WAKE UP!"
A couple minutes later, my eyes opened, and I went to the mirror to look at myself. I looked like the old me! I wasn't in Ooo anymore.
"It's about time!" my sister said to me, "Dinner's ready!"
"Oh… " I said, still groggy and confused from being woken up so roughly. "OK, give me a minute,"
I stood there looking at the mirror thinking, 'I wonder if when I go to sleep tonight, I will pick up in the dream where I left off… Oh well!' Then I skipped out of my room, not having another thought about it!
