The Terran Wars

Neither the Protos nor the Zerg saw it coming. That the galaxy's most formidable power would fall to it's knees engulfed in civil war. As we the Terrans tore ourselves apart, both Zerg and Protos alike stopped fighting and watched on in shock as humanity crushed itself out into oblivion. And neither side could guess why. This is our story. One Shot expanding

Few had seen the Terrans in this sector. Hasdin sat with his fellow Zealots in the brush behind a screen of trees as they observed two columns of Terran Marines making their way to where the fork in the gorge met. Qwasarungas screeched to one another as Banshees began flying in over the marines to the left. The Marines on the right were flanked by Helians.

"They approach." Hasdin reported to the Nexus.

"Hold your position. Stalkers are coming to assist you as well as Phoenixes to deal with the Banshees." Nexus replied.

"Understood. We wait for their arrival." Hasdin replied.

As the Terrans drew closer, Hasdin noticed that they wore different colored armor. The force on the left was clad in all blue insignias while the other cluster proceeded in green. They advanced slowly, as if they couldn't see one another but knew they were in the area.

"Strange. It appears they are even hiding from each other." Hasdin noted to his commrade, Fortel.

Then the inexplicable happened. As the two groups reached the fork, they immediately began taking defensive positions and... shooting one another. The Banshees whirred over head and began missiling the Helians mercilessly. Marines yelled and shouted to one another as they tore each other apart. Suddenly orange Terrans came in on medivac shuttles and joined the Frey. However the Orange Terrans were quickly dispatched in the ensuing chaos, many caught in the cross fire.

"Hasdin to Nexus, Hold off the Stalkers. Something is not right with these Terrans. They... they are killing each other." Hasdin said baffled and confused. Suddenly there was an explosion and the Banshees finished the last of the Green garbed marines.

"Hasdin, clarify." Nexus demanded.

"Like I said," Hasdin said stunned as the Blue Terrans proceeded up the Green Terran path, still moving slowly and carefully."The Terrans are Killing each other."
