Battle Scars

Alice lay's on the ground by Jasper's ashes. Curled in a ball she rocks back and forth, sobbing tearlessly. The worst was over and now the remaining Cullen's and witnesses were cleaning up. Despair racks her body. "This is all my fault!" she screams in her head. "It's me Aro wanted and if I didn't come back none of this would have happened!"
That's when Bella walked silently toward her. Sitting down Bella puts her arm around the sobbing vampire. Bella, I'm sorry this had to happen to you." It's okay, Bella says. You'll be okay. She whispers so only Alice can here. Bella gets up and looks around. There still was the giant hole Benjamin created but other than that the field looked pretty much normal, thanks to a quick remodeling. Emmett, Bella says turning to her brother. "Carry Alice Please." Okay. Emmett says with a hint of sadness in his voice.
After the remaining Cullen's got home Alice ran upstairs. Now time passes, right? Well here's what happened in the aftermath of the battle Alice sat in the middle of her bed, unmoving dead, emotionless. Not even bothering to hunt or even talk to anybody who tried to talk to her. But Esme the Cullen's new leader had to pull it together for the family. It's now been eight years, she got up to hunt maybe three times in the last year. Alice no longer cared about fashion, her family and even life itself.
On a humid august evening, the Cullen's finished moving. Now all they had to do is get Alice out of the house. Emmett and Edward lifted her up as she thrashed and screams erupted from her body. They strapped her in the car and she looked out the window, longingly wanting to go back to Forks, her home.
A decade later Alice stands in a clearing, back in forks with a shape shifter from the Quileute pack. "Kill me, Sam." She says quietly. Sam obliges. And then burns the body.
When the Cullen's find Alice they realize that she is in a better place now, with Jasper. But they also realize that Alice was scarred, of not only losing Japser but losing herself. She had scar's, Not like the physical ones. But mental ones, battle scars.
