Dance Lesson

(Human)

Vinnie walked down the hall, his green animal spirit tail swishing back and forth, to his shared dorm with Sunil. He was suddenly tackled and pinned. He struggled underneath the figure. "Let me up! Let me up," he squirmed. He opened his eyes to see Penny Ling. "Pinned ya," she said letting up the gecko man. He brushed himself off. "What do you want," he asked. "To take you to dance class before you forget," she said. She took his hand and began to walk at normal pace. A blush flooded his face. He instantly ate some mints to take it away.

Penny Ling was looking around saying hi to anyone and everyone. Vinnie loved that about her. She never put any one down, she was sweet and kind. He could her grip tighten. His eyes snapped open. "You ok, Vinnie," she asked a look of worry on her face. "Yes! Yes I am fine and dandy," he said. Then he actually thought. He began to dance. An I don't mean Tap or messed up rhythm dance! I mean he turned Penny Ling so they were facing each other, placed her hand on his shoulder, moved his hand down right below her shoulder blades, took her other hand in his, and began to waltz.

Vinnie was surprised with himself, as was Penny Ling. He or she never knew the other could waltz. Penny Ling was only a inch shorter than Vinnie making it extremely easy. He moved his feet slowly and gracefully, making sure not to step on hers. They waltzed down the hall, catching next to everyone's attention. They didn't even notice the crowd that had started following them. One kid pulled out an iPod and began playing Chinese music. Penny Ling pulled out to ribbons from her bag, of which was set down. Green and purple ribbons. She handed the green one to Vinnie. They bowed to each other as the music was restarted.

Both of them raised the ribbons and began to twirl them. Penny Ling dancing around Vinnie as he spun the green ribbon while spinning himself. As the song got faster, they got faster. Vinnie and Penny Ling, now both dancing and moving around in the correct movements, locked hands and began to spin each other. Penny Ling was extremely surprised with the green-dyed-haired dancer. She had never know he could dance with such grace. In fact, she didn't know he could even ribbon dance! But at the moment she didn't give a care. She just spun the with him, both of their ribbons somehow spun together and are still spinning now.

They let go of the others hand, sending the other to either side of the hall. And above everyone's heads...was a purple, green, extremely detailed, heart. Vinnie and Penny Ling were both panting. They waited for everyone to get a picture, then yanked their ribbons. But a mishap happened. Vinnie and Penny Ling's ribbons somehow went the wrong way, causing either ribbon to get wrapped around them. "WHOA!" "WHOA!" They were yanked into the middle of the hallway, both intwined in ribbon. Chest to chest, Vinnie looked into her light purple eyes, Penny Ling looking into his. They tilted their heads and kissed. Many awwws were heard, but their lips were locked . They pulled back, gasping for air. "I love you, Penny Ling," he said brushing a strand of hair out of her beautiful face. "And I love you Vinnie Terrio," she said. She laid her head on his chest and they both closed their eyes. Little did they know, all 4 of their friends (Zoe graduated) were watching. Russell took Minka's hand and Sunil took Peppers, and they walked down the hall. Letting the couple have some privacy.
