So, this is my very first fanfic, I have never done this before, I'm not a writer, and I would never pretend to be one, this is just an idea that wouldn't leave my head, and I decided to give it a shot. Is it a good shot? a bad shot? or a could be better shot? Please let me know. Any constructive criticism would be welcome and appreciated. Also, English is not my mother tongue so, sorry for any mistake.

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Aaron Hotchner can easily count the times he fell in love, not just love someone, of course he had loved other women, but deeply, truly, madly love someone, just a few times.

The first time it was at the end of his junior year when he accidentally walked into a theater club rehearsal, there he saw her; she was talking with a couple of other girls, inadvertently of his presence. She was laughing, her eyes had a light he never saw before, her long blond hair shining brightly, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he ever saw. He had to meet her, so he joined the theater club, and he became what he calls "the worst fourth pirate in history". That's when he learned love can make you do things you thought impossible.

The second time was in his first year in the BAU, he was still adjusting to the horror he saw in the job, and that particular day was awful. He felt sick, disgusted, defeated, hopeless, sad. He felt surrounded by darkness with no way to escape. And she took his hand in hers, his best friend for more than ten years. She didn't say anything, she didn't have to, she just sat next to him. That's when he fell in love all over again. She had the ability to bring him back to light, to make him believe in good, to make him feel at peace. He had only one way to tell her how much she mean to him, how much he loved her, just two words... "Marry me".

Their wedding day. They were standing in front each other holding hands. Their eyes locked in each other. Promising eternal love and be together "till death do us part". After the "I now pronounce you husband and wife." he kissed her, he thought the world could have crash around them and he wouldn't noticed, he was busy falling deeper in love with his wife.

The next time Aaron fell in love, was the day she said "I'm pregnant". He was going to be a father. She was going to make him a father. There was going to be a little person with the best of the two of them. She was carrying the proof of their eternal love, the start of their family. How could he not love her more for that?

The day arrived. The day their lives would change forever. Their child was here. She was holding him in her arms, and all Aaron could do was staring. She was exhausted, after hours of labor, who wouldn't be? But she didn't care. And she never looked so beautiful. He saw something new in her that day. She had a new light in her eyes, a new strength, a new undying love. He never thought he could feel so much joy, so much happiness, so much love. He never thought this kind of love existed, and now he felt it for two people. And it was because of her.

The last time Aaron fell in love with someone, was the day she was taken away from this world.
The day she was taken away from her son and from him.
The day she face death with such strength and integrity.
The day she made the ultimate sacrifice a parent can do for their child... die.
The day he promised to teach their little boy about love. About their love.
The day she remind him that no matter how much evil you face, love is more important, is stronger, is what makes everything worthwhile, and is what makes you survive.

Aaron Hotchner can easily count the times he fell deeply, truly, madly in love. And more easily he can count the women he fell for. Just one. His only one. Haley.
