Episode 1: Dragon's Roar!
Above the Earth in space, a shining light was falling down the planet. When it entered its space on a mountainous region, it was shown to be a Buddyfigh card.
Get ready for a cool new card game that connects to a parallel universe!
Special cards act as portals, bringing monsters to Earth to become Buddies with Humans, and through friendship and courage help them take on fight challenges! It's called Buddyfight!
"Year's ago"
It was the middle of the night somewhere in Japan. In one of the many House's in the streets stood a Japanese House. Just then, a bright light shined in front of it until the House was covered in a big shadow, then someone put down a basket in the front door before the bright light came back again and the shadow was gone. After that, the door was opened and there stood a woman with black blue hair and an ivory color blouse, red and pink skirt and blue pants that reaches the knees. And she wears small red shoes. She noticed the light and went to check it out outside, but she didn't find anything strange anywhere.
?:That was strange. Where did that light come from?
But then she heard a noise, and when she looked down, she was surprised as in front of her feet stood a basket with a newborn baby wrapped in a blanket.
?: Oh my goodness!
She carefully took the basket with the baby and went inside the House. A few moments later, she was speaking with her husband with the baby now in her arms. Her husband wears a white shirt and a red tie, grey pants and a brown belt buckle and he's wearing black shoes, he wears glasses and has black hair. He was reading a note that was inside the basket.
?: Well, what does it say, Takashi?
Takashi: Not much, Suzumi. Only the baby's name.
Suzumi: Why would anyone abandoned their child like that, this one is very young.
Takashi: I don't know, dear. But what I do know is that he was brought to us for a reason.
Suzumi began to think if they should take care of this child or not. She is already the mother of two children and one in the way. After much thought, she made her decision.
Suzumi: What's his name?
Takashi took another look at the card before looking back at his wife.
Takashi: Draka.
"Present Day"
In a grassy landscape with Roman-like structures and landforms, are two humanoid Dragons talking to each other. One is older and his scales are crimson and pink, and wears a headband with what looked like dark bronze exhaust pipes in the front, two yellow horns, long white hair and wearing an old beaten down armor on his waist with black pants underneath. The other orange Dragon, a younger one, is wearing more and brighter armor, has yellow hair and at his side is a big mechanized drill with exhaust pipes on it.
Old Dragon: My son, the day shall come when you'll take my place, and lead the Armordragon army of the Drum clan. You have gained much knowledge that will serve you well. But you still have much to learn.
The old Dragon son, who is kneeling in front of him, was surprised at what his father said as he look up at him.
Old Dragon: I am sending you away from our Dragon World to the alien planet called Earth. Were it is my hope that you will continue on your path of knowledge.
The young Dragon stood up on his feet as he put a fist on his armor.
Young Dragon: As you wish, Father. I'll become Buddies with the great, no, a perfect Human. Who'll push me to become the most awesome Dragon ever.
Old Dragon: YOU BUFOON!
The old Dragon angrily shouted at his son, who flinched at him in surprise.
Young Dragon: Father?
Old Dragon: If you truly wish to become worthy of my crown, you had better learn to overcome your stubborn attitude!
At this response, the young Dragon simply smashed a pillar nearby, in order to impress his father.
Young Dragon: Actually, I think that's one of my best qualities!
Old Dragon: Do you? Just keep one important thing in mind, the Human you eventually choose to become Buddies with should by no means be flawless.
This confused the young Dragon as his father put a hand on his shoulder.
Old Dragon: How should I put this? It should be someone who's unconventional.
Young Dragon: Unconventional? Okay, Father.
Inside a Cave, stood a blue humanoid Dragon with golden armor that covers the chest, neck, face, arms, legs, and tail. His shoulder pads and gauntlets have red highlights. On his back are blue spikes with gold edges, and the blue horns behind his head curved forwards and has a few spikes behind it. Green eyes and blue claws and a blue tail-like axe. Behind his back is a sword with a gold hilt and was inside a blue scabbard. His biggest weapon is a blue and gold axe with silver edges known as a Labrys. This Dragon was surrounded by blue orbs which shows children in it, but he was only looking for one specific child.
Unknown Dragon: "Soon, it shall begin."…

The scene show's Gao, Drum, Draka and Labrys with their backs facing each other as they both gave a grin.

In the grassy landscape of the Drum clan, the young Dragon are sparring each other with the adult Dragons and their leader watching them. Drum managed to beat his opponent down, when he looked behind him to see the approval look of his Father, he didn't reacted at all, which disappointed Drum a little.

Don't matter to us, we can change the way it's done, coz we are the irreplaceable Buddy fighters!
Gao was fighting an opponent at a tournament, his opponent managed to grab him but Gao was able to counterattack throwing him over his shoulder while he still had a hold of him. His Mom nodded proudly, while Draka, Hanako, and all the students cheered him for his victory.
With our flame, we can burn up the darkness, the sun will shine on through, illuminate your soul, on we go, (on we go), we will deliver your call to tomorrow!
Gao was wrapping his forearm in a white bandage, Drum strapped his three-clawed wrist plate on his left arm, Draka wrapped his white scarf on his neck, and Labrys unfurled his wings. They stand side by side before starting moving down the hallway.
Such fantastic inspiration moving into new territory.
I charge and draw, run as fast as the wind.

Both the Human's and their Monsters continued walking as they smiled at each other when they reached the door, which opened for them as they entered the stage ready for battle.

In a large City, a Police Car rides along the street, blaring its siren, indicating a Police chase is taking place. Inside the Police Car, a transmission from an unknown source says…
Unknown source: The Criminal fighter was last seen in the City center. Suspect is currently fleeing on top of the Sky Tower.
As the driver switches the Car to autopilot, the door opens and reveals a young, sky blue haired teenager wearing a turquoise colored suit, orange vest with a gold badge, orange fingerless gloves and boots. He's coming out of the moving Police Car and in his hand is a card of a green Dragon with armor and a large knife-like sword on its head.
Young boy: Let's go to work, Jack.
The boy's card flashes as the green bipedal Dragon with a black sword-like tail and is wearing a black armor with grey edges and red highlights, on his helmet is a sword that is able to slide forward when needed, appears in the sky in a flaming aura and roars. The boy's deck case flashes as the Dragon's eyes flashes too and a voice, coming from the deck case, says…
AI's voice: BUDDY SKILL ON.
The deck case changes to his Core Gadget, a compass looking item with the deck case on top. Green spinning disks appear on the teenager's feet, allowing him to fly side by side with the Dragon. The two fly to a tower in the distance where they meet up with the Criminal holding a purple hammer with a deck case on it and a metallic-looking Golem next to him on top.
Young boy: Buddy Police Barrier!
Above Earth in space was a satellite with its symbol being the same as the boy's emblem. It then launches down a beam on Earth, which surrounded the Sky Tower in a barrier, trapping the Criminal and the Monster inside.
Young boy: As I see, you have two choices; give yourself up or accept my Buddyfight challenge!
Criminal: Bring it on, punk! Luminize!
The Criminal holds his hand to the deck case on his hammer and reveals 6 white cards in front of him.
Young boy: They never come quietly, do they? Fine by me, let's get to work.
Flying close to the barrier surrounding the Sky Tower was a Helicopter news as the Newswoman began her daily report.
Newswoman: I'm live at the Sky Tower as Buddyfighter and boy wonder cop, Tasuku Ryuuenji and Jackknife Dragon, take down an escaped fugitive. Some of you probably know the child prodigy, Tasuku has never lost a Buddyfight to a Criminal Fighter, so stay tuned as the action unfolds.
Tasuku: Assemble, Dragon army! Dragonic Force, Luminize!
Tasuku announced as he reveals 6 white cards from his Core Gadget. 2 gigantic white cards appeared on each player's side.
Both fighters: Raise the flag!
Both Monsters appeared holding two different flags.
Inside the Buddy Police Headquarters, a male officer is giving the reports to his Commander about the fight.
Male officer 1: Tasuku's Buddyfight with the fugitive is moving on to the third turn.
Commander: Where are the files I ask for? Our man is running blind out there!
A young female officer responded to the lead officer's question. She has blonde hair tied to a bun and is wearing a red beret. Her uniform is a green vest and a white-gray shirt and skirt. Her eyes are turquoise and she wears spectacles over them.
Female officer: The fugitive's fight history is now fully downloaded, sir. It should be on your screen now.
The male officer who's giving directions to the scene, checked the files on his screen.
Male officer 2: Tasuku, this is the Buddy Card Office, it looks like your opponent is using a defensive combo deck, which could mean trouble if you don't act fast!
Tasuku understood as he turned back his attention to the fight.
Tasuku: Ten-four! Attack, Jackknife Dragon!
Criminal: Get him!
The green Dragon readied his sword on his helmet as the metal Golem jumped at him only to be easily overpowered as he was kicked away of the Sky Tower.
Jackknife Dragon: Where do you think you're going?
The green Dragon then slashed his opponent with his sword, destroying him in mid-air and disappeared in a field of orange cards.
Tasuku: Remember it well; This is the blade of justice that terminates evil!
Tasuku then took a card on his hand, ready to release his final move.
Tasuku: Unleash!
A giant reptilian hand appeared from the sky as it grabbed a gargantuan sword tied in chains before breaking them by forcefully pulling the sword.
Tasuku: Impact card! Gargantua Punisher!
Tasuku roared as he attacks with his now blazing sword down on the opponent and virtually slashing the tower in half. The attack was so powerful that the Criminal's Core Gadget was destroyed and the barrier around them fades away.
Inside a Card Shop called CASTLE, the battle was watched by two boys.
Red haired boy: Whoahouh! That Tasuku Ryuuenji is totally awesome!
Orange haired boy: Yeah! That impact he used is incredible!
The boy on the left is a 12 year old. He wears a black and indigo jacket over a scarlet undershirt sporting an orange and yellow symbol resembling the sun and a black collar. Both of his forearms are wrapped in decorative white bandages that extends from his elbows to his knuckles. He has short black spiky hair with red spikes towards the front. Three of these red spikes point upwards, with the one on the right being the longest and curling towards his left side. He has big golden eyes and wears a thorn student cap adorned with sun a ornament. He also wears indigo sweatpants with a yellow strip going along the side, and white shoes with black and yellow ascents. His name is Gao Mikado.
The boy next to him is the same age as Gao's. He wears on his neck a long blue scarf with a medium sized yellow strip in the center and at the tip of his scarf with small white stripes that separates the two, pinned on the left of his scarf is flame shaped badge. He wears and orange drop-sleeved clip-buttoned shirt under his black undershirt with a white stripe moving down on the buttons and yellow and blue striped upside down triangle on each side of the front. He wears white pants that's being held by a brown belt and orange shoes with light orange, black and white ascents. He also wears blue fingerless gloves. His orange hair has a flaming hairstyle along with his blue hair on the front and blue eyes. He's Gao's stepbrother, Draka Mikado.
Aw man, I wish I can draw a Buddy rare card and become buddies with a cool Monster like Jackknife Dragon!
This caught the attention of a familiar Monster, he was in a cave with blue orbs showing children's of Earth. His attention was caught by Gao when he mentioned Jackknife Dragon.
Young Dragon: Huh, did he say Jackknife Dragon?
Draka: Jackknife is a powerful monster, but that there are many Monsters to choose, Gao.
This was also heard by the Labrys wielding Dragon as he listened to their conversation.
?: That Tasuku's one cool hombre, right Gao and Draka?
A man wearing a green t-shirt, pink smock with the words CASTLE on it, blue jeans and an orange cap over his brown hair. He's the manager of CASTLE as he approaches Gao and Draka with a medium size box holding in his hands.
Gao: Yeah. You think we can ever Buddyfight like that?
The Store Manager put the box on his shoulder as he turned to Gao and Draka.
Store Manager: I don't see why not?
Draka: Yeah! And then we can rock with a cool Impact Card! Like, Gargantua Punisher?
Store Manager: You know it!
Gao: Who am I kidding. I'll never be able to draw a Buddy Rare.
Draka: Come on Gao, don't be like that.
Store Manager: He's right, you gotta think more positive. You think I was made Manager of this place? If you really want something, you gotta go out and take it!
Gao: Like a 100 dollar store credit?
Hearing Gao's joke, the Store Manager, Gao and Draka began to laugh loudly. Their conversation was heard by the costumers of the Store.
Store Manager, Gao and Draka: (Laugh loudly)…
Costumer 1: I don't have the heart to tell them.
Costumer 2: Everyone knows Tasuku Ryuuenji is the only one on the planet who's got the majorly rare Gargantua Punisher card.
Costumer 3: Maybe they just started Buddyfighting.
The young Dragon was hearing their conversation as he sweat dropped at what he heard. But then he heard a strange music coming from one of the boys.
Young Dragon: Huh?!
Gao grabbed his phone as Draka looked worriedly.
Draka: It's Mom… isn't it…?
He got his answer as Gao groaned and put the phone in his ear.
Gao: Heya, Mom?
Before he could continued further, his ears was attacked by a loud outburst.
Ms. Mikado: HEY YOURSELF! WHY ARE YOU AND DRAKA AVOIDING PRACTICE?!
Gao: We're not avoiding anything! I swear! We were just taking the scenic route home.
Ms. Mikado: STOP SASSING ME, AND GET YOU AND YOUR BROTHER BUTTS BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!
With that the outburst ended as well as the phone call.
Draka: (Sigh)… Looks like we'll get more tuff lessons from Mom, huh?
Gao: Eheheh…
Gao and Draka then began running from the store, not before saying goodbye to the Store Manager.
Gao: Catch ya later!
Draka: Let's move it Gao, quickly!
Gao and Draka left the store, unknown to them they are being watched by the young Dragon and the one that wields the labrys.
As the Sun began to set, Gao and Draka are running down the street until they saw in the alleyway three boys cornering a young kid with a pale blue haircut that is covering most of his eyes and he's wearing a blue uniform.
Bully 1: Listen up, dork. I'll ask you for the last time. Do you have a Buddy Rare card or not?
The boy in front of the kid is shown to be the leader of the bullies.
Young kid: I… I told you, I don't Buddyfight.
Bully 1: Then I'm gonna have to charge ya for wasting our time.
But then, a voice was heard.
Draka: You're wasting your own time picking on others!
The leader of the bullies then looked at them with and angry look.
Bully 1: Huh!? Who do you think you guys are!? Some kind of hero or something!?
Gao: Oh, we're no hero, we prefer to go by the titel 'Mighty Sun Fighters'!
The two Dragons in their respective caves were watching this confrontation as the leader of the bullies only laughed at what he heard.
Bully 1: (Laughs)… You're hilarious. That's gotta be the craziest thing I've ever heard. Alright, can't say I didn't warn ya.
Labry's wielding Dragon: Those kids have guts, I'll give them that.
Bully 1: Teach him a lesson.
The two bullies that are with him walked towards Gao and Draka as they cracked their fists. But Gao and Draka remained calm as the two approached them. When one tried to punch Gao, he simply ducked and grabbed the Bully's leg before standing up and throw the bully behind him. The same goes for the other one as Draka grabbed his arm and leg and throw him behind as well. This surprised the leader and the kid as the bullies continued to try to attack Gao and Draka, but they still end up being thrown away or bumped into each other. The young boy was awed at how the two were handling this, while the leader was starting to lose his patience.
Bully 1: Stop playing around and take him out!
Easier said than done cause the two bullies were panting from exhaustion while Gao and Draka didn't break a sweat.
Bully 2: Oh you are gonna pay for that!
Bully 2: Right now!
The bullies continue to attack the two boys again to no avail. The grumbling young Dragon didn't liked how this fight was going though.
Young Dragon: (Grumble)… What's he doing?! He's dodging every single attack!
The other Dragon silently has the same thought as he watched the fight with his arms crossed. However… the young boy is seeing it differently.
Young boy: "It looks like he's running away, but they're actually turning great defense into incredible offense!"
After a few more throwing and tripping, the bullies cannot continue any longer. This made the leader quite upset.
Bully 1: Now I'm angry! You guys think you're pretty cool, huh!?
He then took out a purple phone and began typing. A few seconds later, he showed his phone to Gao and Draka and said in a threatening tone.
Bully 1: Fifty of my main crew are on their way to back me up here!
Young boy: Fi-Fifty?
This terrified the young boy when he hear that fifty bullies are coming here. However…
Draka: You'll need a lot more than fifty!
This surprised both Dragons as they did not expect to hear this.
Gao: Eclipsing the darkness with flames…
Draka: … and brightening the hearts of the mistreated.
Both Gao and Draka took of their jacket and shirt and whore them back in reverse. The young boy and the bully watched them in confusion.
Bully 1: I think these weirdos has lost their marbles!
Gao and Draka: The Might Sunfighters are here!
The boys finished as on their back is the logo of the Sun. They then turned back to face the leader.
Gao: Ever since we were little, we've had this dream of fighting a 100 guys.
Gao and Draka then got themselves in battle position.
Gao: So please, call another fifty. Bring it on!
The leader is no longer confident of himself anymore, as Gao and Draka are eagerly waiting with a smile on their faces.
Commercial break…
Young boy: Are you sure you want to do this?
The young boy questioned nervously.
Gao: Don't worry, the Might Sun Fighters are here to protect you.
Young Dragon: Did he said Sun Fighters?
Labry's wielding Dragon: Oh, that is an interesting name.
The bullies has yet to make a move as Gao and Draka are still in their battle stance.
Draka: Well? What are you waiting for? Text your friends. In the name of injustices, the Might Sun fighters will take down your whole entourage.
The leader of the bullies was absolutely nervous now, as he's not sure if he should take the two seriously now and call his crew.
The two Dragons are waiting for the slugfest to begin as thy watch with anticipation.
Young Dragon: Time to claim your victory, Attack!
However, that didn't happened as this time Draka's Cellphone was ringing, causing the drill wielding Dragon to face fault on the ground.
Draka: What is it now?
Draka said a little frustrated as he answered the call.
Draka: Hello?
Ms. Mikado: WHY ARE YOU AND GAO KEEPING ME WAITING!?
Draka: It's the funniest thing, you see we were running when we saw this kid…
Draka explanation was only interrupted by another outburst.
Ms. Mikado: DON'T LIE TO ME! GET HOME RIGHT NOW!
As the loud call ended Draka only groaned as he looked at Gao who gave him a sigh, he then put his phone back in his pocket as he looked at the bully with an apologetic look.
Draka: We gonna have to reschedule our little till tonight…
However, the bullies wouldn't have any of it.
Bully 1: Not a chance! Let's get him!
The three bullies then attacked Gao and Draka at once only to be easily overpowered by Gao as he managed throw one of them on the ground with the other two on top and twisting the two of their arms.
Draka: Time to go!
Draka then grabbed the boy and put him on his shoulders as he began to run soon followed by Gao.
The young Dragon then got up from his little face fault.
Young Dragon: Urg… You gotta be kidding… Huh?
When he looked back at the sphere he wasn't happy seeing them running.
Young Dragon: Mighty Sun Fighters my butt! I was hopping to see a fight! What a waste of time!
The Blue Dragon was disappointed as well, though not very much as he looked back at the screen.
Labrys wielding Dragon: Man, I really wanted to see how this fight would go. Although, those kids… they were very brave if they wanted to face 100 opponents. That mist mean they might be very skilled.
After managing to lost the bullies, Draka and Gao stopped as they boy was put back safely on the ground.
Young boy: How can I… ever repay you for saving me from those bullies?
Gao: Don't sweat it, man. Catch ya later!
Gao and Draka waved goodbye to the boy as they both started running with him watching them go before bowing his to them.
Young boy: Thank you very much!
The two Dragon were silently watching as the two boys were heading home.
Gao and Draka has finally reached home. It was a simple Japanese House with a wooden tablet saying Mikado-style Aikijujutsu.
Gao and Draka: Were home!
Suzumi: You two have been at again, haven't you?
Gao and Draka were in a Dojo as they kneeled in front of their Mother as she is now wearing a gi uniform. Gao and Draka were nervous when their Mom asked that.
Gao: Uuh… At what again? What are you talking about?
Suzumi: I warned you kids that if you continued getting into brawls, there will be No. More. Sun Fighters.
This made Gao and Draka worried as they looked at the Sun of their jackets.
Draka: No! Not that!
Suzumi then got up on her feet as she approached her children.
Suzumi: Your punishment for disobeying my wishes will be; 50 push ups, and extra training.
Gao: Come on, Mom!
Suzumi: Call me Sensei! Now, go change into your uniform.
Draka: Can't we get a snack first, then train?
Unfortunately, their mother wouldn't have any of that as she gave them a look that terrifies them.
Suzumi: You can eat as much as you like after we started practice.
The blue Dragon shivered a little as he looked at the angry eyes of Gao's and Draka's Mom.
Labrys wielding Dragon: She reminds me of my Mom. (Shivers)…
As Gao and Draka were being trained(punished), Takashi was setting the table for dinner as his young daughter, Hanako, was helping out by bringing him a bowl of rice. The Mother of Suzumi, Hanae Juumonji, an elderly women, was helping her Granddaughter. Hanako is a young 9 year old girl with peachy pink hair and amber eyes, she wears a light orange shirt with two lemon stripes on her left side, grey shorts and black socks. She also wears a hairclip with the same insignia of the Sun fighter on it.
Hanako: Here you go, Daddy.
Hanako gave the bowl of rice to her Dad who happily took it.
Takashi: Why thank you, Hanako.
Hanako: Did Gao and Draka get into trouble? For becoming the Sun fighter? And tackling a bunch of bullies again?
Takashi: Sure sounds like it.
Hanako was then squealing in contained excitement.
Hanako: (Squeal)… Must have been so cool! I bet they were all shiny and heroic in stuff.
Takashi laughed a little as Hanae jumped on her seat.
Takashi: (Little Laugh)… One thing for sure, you really do love you two big brothers, don't you?
Hanako: Yeah! Cause the Sun Fighters are totally sweet!
Takashi smiled at her daughter when he heard that.
Takashi: Now eat up before it gets cold.
As the sound of Gao and Draka being thrown around continued to be heard in the House, on a desk was a bowl of rice put in front of a picture, which showed what looked like a older Gao but with dark green spikes on his hair.
Gao: Ugh! Easy, Mom!
Draka: Agh! That hurts!
"Morning"
It was another pleasant day as children were heading for School at Aibo Academy. A School that not only gives education, but also offers special Buddyfight course to growing Buddyfighters. It wasn't a pleasant day for both Gao and Draka though as they're still feeling tonight's training on their rear. They were heading for Aibo as they ride up the escalator.
Gao: (Groans)… I don't get how being flipped on my butt for 3 hours count as extra training?
Draka: That took too long. And when were done, the food was freezing cold.
Gao: (Groan)… And all because we helped that little kid.
?: Good morning, Gao. Good morning, Draka.
When the two heard their names, they turned around and saw it was their friend Kuguru Uki who greeted them. Kuguru is a 12 year old girl with purple hair tied in tow small pigtails that stick out of what circular lamps on her head. She has a light green hairclip that holds a part of her bangs that curl to the right side of her face. The red glasses she wears has circular lenses and she wears a white long sleeve shirt with a fuchsia ribbon and teal accents that extends down to her legs that also acts as a skirt. She also wears white thigh-high boots with teal accents and a color scheme similar to her shirt. Beside her is their friend Baku Omori. He's a tall 12 year old boy with brown hair wrapped in a white bandana and blue eyes. He wears what looks like blue worker clothes with an orange shirt underneath and the left side of hi clothes hanging. He wears a dark brown belt with red highlights and a deck holder and he's wearing brown boots. He was holding a case on his left shoulder while liking a blue lollipop.
Gao: Kuguru and Baku.
Draka: Hey, what's up you two.
Kuguru: Not much. I was just asking Baku here; that if he can choose any Buddy at all, which world will he'd choose from.
Gao: Hm, that's a good question.
Kuguru: Baku said he's never thought about it before since, you know, he's a Deck builder and all.
Draka: Really? Hard to believe you never thought about it.
Gao: Yeah, well, I'm sure there's a lot of things he hasn't thought about.
This upset Baku as he glared at Gao.
Baku: Yeah, right, looks who's talking, mister Sun Fighter!
Both Gao and Baku are now glaring at each other angrily, with lighting coming out their eyes while Draka tried to calm them down.
Draka: Come on, take it easy guys.
Kuguru then took a tablet from her bag as she began to search something.
Kuguru: So, what about you two?
The images on the screen tablet was showing the world names and their inhabitants.
Kuguru: The Dragon World, the Magic World, or the Danger World. Not an easy choice, huh?
Draka was thinking about which World he'd choose, but it wasn't necessary for him to think.
Draka: Well, I choose the Dragon World. I don't know why, but I usually feel attracted to that world.
As Draka was explaining, the Labrys wielding Dragon was paying attention to him.
Labrys wielding Dragon: Hmm…
Draka: What about you, Gao?
Gao was still continuing his glaring with Baku until he snapped out of it to answer the question.
Gao: Hm… Let me think. My Monster had to have a big weapon. Something he'd use to crush anything standing in our way.
The orange Dragon was also listening to their conversation. Even though he became upset that Gao and his brother ran away, he was still following them.
Gao: So the World I'd pick for such a choice Monster is… Well, I don't know. That's a tuff one. But as long as he's mega strong, it doesn't really matter.
As the group came at the end of the stairs, Kuguru brought this.
Kuguru: How about a Dragon Knight?
Young Dragon: What's that!? A Dragon Knight!?
The Dragon said angrily with a thick mark on his head. Not liking one bit at what the girl said.
Gao: Not sure about that, but the Dragon Jackknife is pretty cool.
Kuguru: I never picked you for a Dragon.
The Dragon chuckled himself as he thought for a moment, but then he snapped out of it and shook his head.
Young Dragon: Now way! No way! No way! I can't become buddies with a guy who runs away from his fights!
Right now, Gao, Draka and his friends entered the Academy.
Gao: Oh yeah! Dragons are the only way to go. Thrust me.
?: (Scoff)…! You like Dragons, huh!
Gao and Draka looked up at the one who said that and saw that it was their friend Noboru who's on the second floor. He's the same age as Gao and Draka and has yellow eyes and hair with black Tiger stripes on his head. He wears a yellow shirt with a black Tiger and a blue jacket. He also wears an orange short with black leggings. Plus, he wears blue sneakers with gray highlights. On his right arm is a Tiger striped sweat band and on his left are two bracelets.
Gao: Huh? Noboru?
Noboru: They're okay, but Dragon Knights are way cooler. Dragons are nothing without their masters.
Draka: What is a Dragon Knight?
Kuguru then took her tablet and showed it to Gao and Draka.
Kuguru: Take a look.
Gao: Huh?
Inside the screen showed a knight riding a blue dragon.
Kuguru: They're Humans that ride on Dragons and bravely fight alongside them.
Noboru: Dragons are just dimwitted monsters that couldn't even find their own tail without being ordered by a Dragon Knight. Kinda lame really.
Back with the young Dragon, he heard every word Noboru said about Dragons. He was shaking in anger before he finally exploded in fury, fire started to come out from the exhaust pipes from his head and has fire in his eyes.
Young Dragon: GRRRAAAAAAAHHH! DRAGONS ARE DIMWITTED?! CAN'T FIND THEIR OWN TAILS?!
An aura of fire then surrounded the young Dragon.
Young Dragon: DRAGON KNIGHTS ARE WEAKLINGS! ALL THEY DO IS BARK OUT ORDERS AS IF WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!
He then turned his attention to Gao and started to speak to him(even though that doesn't works).
Young Dragon: Listen up, kid! Why don't you tell your drooly friend there why Dragons are far superior than Dragon Knights!
After a moment of thinking, Gao gave his answer.
Gao: Yeah! Maybe Noboru's right.
Gao said with his hands behind his head. Kuguru laughed a little at that while Draka only listened, not sure if he should how he feels about Dragon Knights.
The young Dragon couldn't believe at what Gao said.
Young Dragon: What is wrong with you!?... Huh? AAH!
SPLASH!
Before he knew it, he slipped and fell into the cave's water pool. His came out and he angrily mumbled something. He then made a decision.
Young Dragon: I'll have to show them.
Inside of one of Aibo Academy Locker rooms, Gao and Draka opened their lockers to change into their School shoes as well as leaving their things in it after School.
Kuguru: Hurry, or we'll be late!
Baku: Leave them behind.
Gao: Come on, just hang on a sec, would you guys?
Draka: It's not our fault we're a little delayed.
After finishing in the Locker room they went into their respective Classroom as their teacher, who looked like and American, came into the Classroom.
Mr. Nitsuki: Morning, class! Today I have something very exciting planned. We're going to write essay using a Buddyfight card pack!
Everyone began to open their card packs with their hands or scissors, except Baku, who was secretly eating behind a book so the Teacher wouldn't notice.
Mr. Nitsuki: I'd like you to create short stories using the Monsters you find inside, and make one of them your main character!
Noboru suddenly stand up from his chair in excitement.
Noboru: Yeah! I got a double rare card!
Everybody looked at the happy Noboru, as the card he was holding depicted a caped-golden knight riding a red Dragon wearing a few golden armor as well
Noboru: Hah! I can't believe it! Check it out! A Dragon Knight, Maximilium!
Gao and Draka then opened theirs as they looked at the cards inside.
Gao: Ahh… Maybe I've got one too?
The card Gao got depicted a purple quadruped Dragon with multiple sharp daggers.
Gao: A Systemic Dagger Dragon. Okay.
He then took out another card.
Gao: Next one is… Huh!?
The Monster in his card is a slim Red Dragon with whit red armor, a shield with a blade on the front and a blade helmet
Gao: A Latale Shield Dragon!
Noboro turned his attention to Gao and Draka, listening to what they are saying about the cards they got. The next and final card showed a Dragon with Musketeer armor and a rapier.
Gao: And a Thousand Rapier Dragon! Man, all of these Monster cards are so totally cool!
He then turned to Draka, who was watching the cards his step-brother drawed.
Gao: What about you, Draka? What cards did you get?
Draka: Well let's see…
Draka then opened his pack and took out a card. In this one is a white Dragon wearing gold armor that only covers his shoulders and lower body, and a white cape.
Draka: An Anger Fist Dragon. Now the other one.
The next card shows a heavy-weight gold-scaled Dragon in grey armor, and is wielding a battle axe.
Draka: Now this is an interesting one. A Bardiche Drake!
He then took the last card from the pack.
Draka: And lastly…
The last card shows a red winged Dragon wielding two piercing lances.
Draka: Awl Pike Dragon. This Monster looks so cool! All of theme are!
It is then that Noboru decided to tease them.
Noboru: Hah! None of them are rare, though. Are they, pal?
Gao and Draka only shrugged it off.
Gao: Doesn't matter.
Noboru however, continued to brag.
Noboru: Picking up a double rare card is beyond you anyways. I mean; it takes a lot of skill.
Draka: Whatever pal.
Gao and Draka then took out their last card pack.
Gao: And now for the last card.
Both Gao and Draka opened their last packs and picked the card inside at the same time. But when they turned the card to the front, it was covered in yellow light. The next thing they knew the cards glowed brighter and flew out of their hands to their surprise.
Gao: Huh?
Draka: What the?!
All the students turned their attention to the two cards that's flying around above them.
Mr. Nitsuki: What's happening!?
Both cards then flew out of the classroom.
Gao: Hey wait! That's my card!
Draka: And mine too!
At the Buddy Police Headquarters, they seem to have detected the emergence of a Monster at Aibo Academy.
Male Buddy Police 1: Buddy Monster reaction is confirmed sir.
Male Buddy Police 2: In the 7th 100 block of west Cho-Tokyo district. On the grounds of Aibo's School Academy.
The female Officer was checking the data of the Monsters they detected. The picture of the young orange Dragon and the Labrys wielding Dragon appeared on the screen.
Female Officer: It looks like the two Monsters are Armordragons; Drum Bunker Dragon and Great Labrys Dragon. Huh?
The male Officer turned to her.
Male Officer: Are you quite sure about that?
Female Officer: Yes.
They all then turned to the Commander, who looked at the screen thoughtfully on his mechanical chair before giving a nod.
Gao: Come back!
Gao and Draka were running in the hallways as they chased the two glowing cards 'til they separated and flew to different paths. While Gao chased his card, Draka followed his until they reached to rooftop. The glowing finally stopped flying away as Draka tried to regain his breath. The card was then enveloped in a glowing wind before dispersing, revealing the Labrys-wielding Dragon in its place. Draka was looking at him in awe.
Draka: Wow…
Great Labrys Dragon: I am the Great Labrys Dragon. Tell me, what is your name.
After getting himself together, Draka answered his question.
Draka: My name is Draka. Draka Mikado.
The Great Labrys Dragon looked at Draka before finally making his decision.
Great Labrys Dragon: Draka Mikado, from here on out I'll be you Buddy.
Draka was surprised when he heard this.
Draka: Really? You'll become Buddies with me?
Great Labrys Dragon: Yes.
Draka: Oh wow. Wait till Gao heard this.
It is then that they noticed a light coming down at the School center and they saw the young armor-clad Dragon with Gao close by.
Great Labrys Dragon: Well I'll be. That's the son of the chief of the Drum Bunker Clan.
Back down at the School center, just like Draka, Gao was in awe with his fists clenched at the Monster that appeared from the card.
Gao: Yes! It's a Dragon!
Every student were watching at what's happening at the School center. Noboru couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Noboru: You gotta to be joking!
Gao then raised his hand in greeting to the Dragon.
Drum Bunker Dragon: What are you trying to pull, kid?
Gao: Just a handshake. You are gonna be my Buddy, aren't ya?
The young Drum Bunker Dragon only turned his head away from him.
Drum Bunker Dragon: Hump. Not if I can't help it.
Gao: Huh?
Gao sure wasn't expecting that response from the Monster that came from the card he recently drew.
Gao: But you came out of my card. Doesn't that mean you have to be my Buddy?
The young Dragon turned his eyes to Gao without turning his head.
Drum Bunker Dragon: You think Dragon Knights are better than Dragons, do ya?
The Dragon then brought his face closer to Gao's before continuing.
Drum Bunker Dragon: Or maybe I misheard you?
Gao: Well I… uh, you know… agh…
Drum Bunker Dragon: I'm waiting.
Gao then noticed someone coming. It was Noboru. The Dragon noticed as well as he pointed his claw at the one who started the insult.
Drum Bunker Dragon: Why'd you listened to that insolent, little friend of yours! How dare he call me a dimwitted Monster!
Gao: Well, Noboru?
Noboru: You lucked out. How does a guy like you draw a Buddy rare Monster? I just can't believe it. It's so unfair!
Draka: Come on, Noboru! Don't be that way!
Everybody looked and saw Draka as he came down with the Great Labrys Dragon carrying him.
Gao: Cool! You have a Dragon as a Buddy too!
Noboru: Oh come on! Him too!?
Draka got of his Buddies arms as he turned to Noboru.
Draka: Listen, me and Gao may not be the smartest, or know everything that you do. But luck or no luck, the trick is to keep trying, and go after what you really want.
Noboru only looked at Draka and Gao as he doesn't know what to say.
Draka: Right, guys?
His blue Dragon only nodded at him.
Gao: Took the words right out of my mouth! What about you?
The young Dragon then noticed that Gao was talking to him as everyone turned their attention to him.
Drum Bunker Dragon: Huh? Hey, don't you look at me! I'm still ticked because you believed that winning, sore loser over there. You wanna be Buddy with me? You better show some respect…
The young Dragon sentence was then interrupted when they heard the sound of flapping wings. Hovering above them was no other than Jackknife Dragon as he landed in front of them. The Drum Bunker Dragon, even the Labrys Dragon, looked at him in awe and surprise.
Great Labrys Dragon: Is that?
Drum Bunker Dragon: It's Jackknife Dragon.
The same goes for the children before they heard a familiar voice.
?: Sorry to just drop in on you.
Landing next to them was a boy with blue hair flying with his Buddy Skill!
Tasuku: But actually I'm here on official business. Do you know who I am?
The kids couldn't believe that the Buddycop Boy Wonder was standing in front of them.
Noboru: Tasuku Ryuuenji.
Draka: You're the Boy Wonder of the Buddy police.
All the students has now saw Tasuku Ryuuenji and Jackknife Dragon at their Schoolyard.
Random Student 1: Tasuku and Jack from the Buddy police are here!
Random Student 2: Look, there's Jack!
It wasn't long before everyone got out of their classrooms and went to the Schoolyard to meet up close the famous duo.
Tasuku: Well, I guess in the future I should have you come in mini form, huh?
Jack: You're right… But I refuse.
As the children surrounded Tasuku and Jack, coming out of the School's slide was a 12 year old girl with hot pink hair with a hair-shaped lighting bolt on her head and bright green eyes beneath her orange visor Sunglasses. She's dressed in a yellow and white T-shirt and has a blue tie with a lighting bolt on it. She also wears red shorts with black short leggings with a grey belt. On her left wrist is a watch and on her right wrist is a sweat band. She wears a pair of yellow socks and a pair of red and pink sneakers. In her hand is a microphone as she started to speak with it.
?: It's Tasuku Ryuuenji, the Boy Wonder from the Buddy Police! Why is he here on our School? Listen in as I find out! You're live with School Reporter extraordinaire, Paruko Nanana! And her faithful Buddy-sidekick, the one and only Hero World Martian UFO, Takosuke!
The girl known as Paruko then raised a Buddyfight card in the air as it started to glow.
Paruko: Come on out, Takosuke!
Appearing from the card is a pink Octopus/Jellyfish-like Alien with white, pupiless eyes. Two pink lighting shaped antennas. And is riding on a UFO.
Takosuke: TAKOCHU!
Paruko: Let's go!
Paruko then jumped atop Takosuke as the Alien make space for her to sit on. Taking control of the UFO by taking hold of Takosuke's antennas, Paruko then flew towards were Tasuku and Jack are.
Paruko: You're on active duty? Or just come to see me?
Paruko said with a blush on her face as she aimed her Mike at Tasuko for a response.
Tasuku: To be honest I came here deliver these Core Deck cases to Gao and Draka.
Tasuko brought up two cases from his pocket. One is red and the other is orange and they both have a blue gem on it.
Tasuku: Here, these belong to you two now. It can be transformed into a Core Gadget which will allow you to Luminize your deck. Go on, take it.
Tasuku has the two Core Deck cases in front of Gao and Draka as the two watched it.
Gao: Luminize?
Gao said that word out loud as Paruko came to explain.
Paruko: Any Human who become Buddies with a Monster is given a Core Deck case from the Buddycard Office. Didn't you know that?
She then took out her own Core Deck case which has a pink color on it.
Paruko: And yes of course I have one too!
Draka and Gao turned to one another as they nodded their heads with a grin on their faces. They then picked their respective Core Deck case. Red for Gao and Orange for Draka.
Gao: Gee, thanks.
Draka: Thanks!
Tasuku: This also makes you two official Buddyfighters. You're now able to Buddyfight with Monsters at any time and any place that you guys want.
Draka: Buddyfight with Monsters, huh?
Tasuku then turned around as he was going to leave.
Tasuku: Well, bye!
Gao however, has something else in mind as he called out to Tasuku.
Gao: Huh? No, hang on! Where are you going?
Tasuku stopped walking as Gao aimed his deck at him, which is a sign of a challenge.
Gao: I challenge you to a fight to help train me!
Hearing that, Tasuku turned to Gao with a smile on his face.
Tasuku: Sorry, did I hear you correctly? You liked to Buddyfight challenge me and Jack from the Buddy Police?
Draka: He's not the only one. I want to have a go with you as well. If… you are up to it?
The students around, especially Kuguru and Baku, couldn't believe what they're hearing, the Buddycop Boy wonder is being challenged by these two.
Baku: I can't believe those dweebs.
Paruko: It's too soon to be challenging Master Tasuku of the Buddy Police, don't you think!?
Paruko approached Gao and Draka and yelled loud at their ears.
Paruko: It's a no brainer you two will be completely destroyed! Use your head, it's called common sense, right!?
Gao, with his hands on his ears, replied back.
Gao: Forgive me if I don't listen to common sense coming from a girl in a UFO?
Young Dragon: Huh? Common sense?
Hearing this, the young Drum Bunker Dragon realized something as he remembered his Father's words.
-Flashback-
Old Dragon: It should be someone who is unconventional.
-Flashback end-
Remembering this, the young Dragon set his sight on Jack.
Young Dragon: "But it's Jackknife Dragon… Whatever, I have to try."
The young gripped tighter the handle of his giant drill as he made a decision.
Young Dragon: "I must know my potential."
The Blue Dragon was also in thought as he was looking at his Buddy arguing with Paruko alongside Gao.
Great Labrys Dragon: "I never thought I get the chance to fight with a Dragon of the Jackknife clan… No matter, if this what it takes for me to be the strongest."
Is he finished thinking about it, he watched the young Drum Bunker Dragon approach Gao.
Drum Bunker Dragon: Hey you, little Human.
Gao turned to the young Dragon as Paruko and Draka moved away from them.
Drum Bunker Dragon: From this moment on, you and I will be Buddies.
Gao: Did you say Buddies? Yes!
Fangslade: I am none other than the son of the honorable Drum Bunker Dragon; Fangslade Terrestrial the 13th.
Gao: How about I just call you Drum?
The Dragon didn't like that name at all as a thick mark appeared on his head.
Drum: YEAH! WELL HOW ABOUT YOU DON'T!
Gao: What if, I'm the leader!
Draka smiled seeing those two talking with each other.
Draka: Looks like those two will get along very well. What about you, big guy?
Great Labrys Dragon: We are Buddies now, aren't we not?
Gao: The name's Gao! Gao Mikado!
Hearing this, Draka joined Gao on this as well.
Draka: And I'm Draka Mikado!
Everyone around the School were now expecting an interesting fight with these two and Tasuku Ryuuenji. Paruko then hovered close to the Mikado duo again.
Paruko: You guys can still take back your challenge if you want tooo~.
Draka: We don't wanna take it back!
Gao: Yeah! I don't know why, but I know I have to do this! That's why me and Draka are challenging you to a Buddyfight right here and now!
The wind started to blow over these two Buddyfighters as their about challenge the boy wonder in their first Buddyfight.

Paruko: Hello there! I'm Paruko Nanana, your guide to the Buddyfight world! Every episode will introduce you to some Buddyfight fun facts. And some supercool techniekes that you can use at home. Today were focused on our own world, Earth. As you saw, Gao's and Draka's Buddycards got connected to the Dragon World and they met Drum and Great Labrys Dragon. That's cause Buddycards are like portals for Monsters from other Worlds to come hang out on Earth. It's totally epic, don't you think!
Paruko then winked at the audience with Takosuke at her side and with a Buddycard in hand.
