After her third year most would think Hermione Granger would never mess with time again; and for most of the summer before the Golden Trio's seventh year, so did she. As soon as Hermione realized that she wouldn't be able to take the twelve NEWT classes she wanted to; she wrote to Professor Dumbledore asking if it were possible to receive a time turner for her last year of education.
Being one of Dumbledore's favorite students, after Harry of course, the Professor readily agreed, however our loveable meddling Professor had something else up his sleeve.
