"Who are we missing?" Ginny asks.

Harry glances up from the grill, frowning. As far as he can see, everyone is there who agreed to come. "Dudley, but I doubt he'll show."

His wife groans. Harry doesn't blame her. Although he and Dudley are on good terms, it's still awkward for him to be around.

"It was just a friendly gesture," Harry says defensively. "He never comes to these things. I think Charlie scared him away for good when he brought the baby dragon around last summer."

Ginny smiles at that. Harry has to admit that it was pretty funny. Dudley almost fell into the lake when dragon got loose.

"I know I'm late!" comes a familiar voice, and Ginny groans. "Had a hard time finding the place."

Harry forces a smile. "Good to see you, Dudley," he says warmly. "Burgers are almost done. Get yourself a drink."

"Hang on. I want you to meet someone," Dudley says, grinning. "She's in the car. Said she needed a minute to collect herself."

She? Harry and Ginny exchange glances. She shrugs.

"Got yourself a girlfriend, then?" Harry asks nervously.

Dudley knows about magic. Even if he's the odd one out at the barbecues, he still understands. But if he's brought another Muggle around… Harry isn't sure if he's up to explaining everything, and there would definitely be questions. After all, five year old Teddy has been running around the place, giggling as he changes his hair color.

"Yeah. Sweet girl. I mean. More than sweet," Dudley laughs. "She, uh.. She actually went to school with you."

Harry doesn't know if he's more received or confused. "You met a witch? Does your parents know?"

"Yeah, they love Cho."

Ginny drops the bowl of potato salad. "Cho Chang?"

"Yup! She's been teaching me about Quidditch. Even got me to ride a broom!"

"Dudley!" Cho calls, smiling brightly as she hurries over. "Harry, Ginny, good to see you again."

Harry nods mutely. At least he knows that family gatherings will never be dull.
