HELLLLOOOOO EVERYBODY! This is my absolute first fan fiction! YAY I'm like sooo excited! I will be writing this with the help of my dear friend (and watertribe sister) wondergirl257! We have ALOT planned for this story so please take the time to read them! Thanks SO much!
Four Unlikely Heroes:
Kenna:
Life was as calm as a flowing river in the Southern Water tribe, especially for Kenna. She is the chief's daughter and gets everything that she desires. Even though she has the world, she is the most down to earth person you will ever meet! She is kind, generous, and has a warm heart. She is truly beautiful inside and out. She has long dark hair clashing beautifully with her dark skin. She has paralyzing blue eyes which make everybody stop and stare when they pass by. Her face is simply captivating. She (obviously) has two eyes, full lips, dimples and high cheek bones. Standing at 5'8 ½, she is one of the tallest women in her tribe. The tallest woman being her mother. (5'10)
Kenna is like any other water tribe teenager. She spends most of her time with her best friend Kika, either practicing water bending or causing mischief around the tribe! Everyone loves her. Not only is it her birthday, but the warriors are returning home from 7 months at battle! Life was just fine until that day/night. That was the night she found out she was betrothed.
'Today is my 16th year around the moon' I screeched upon opening my eyes. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw a blue dress with ornate sequins tribal designs stitched on the edges lying beside my "bed". But I felt no need to dress up. I jumped out of bed and immediately went to get dressed in my usual outfit. (Tight fitting dark blue pants and a blue and white long sleeve top) Even though it is my birthday, a girl still has to dress practically! Am I right or am I right?
"Happy birthday Kenna", shouted my mother as they handed me a tiny silver box with the southern water tribe symbol on it. I slowly open; just to annoy my mother. The content inside is so beautiful; it makes my eyes tear up. Inside the little box hold a ring. Not just any ring. It looks like white gold with water designs carved in it holding a simple yet stunning aquamarine gem in the middle. I slip it on my right index finger. It fits perfectly! "I –i…" I stammer clearly at a loss for words. "It's beautiful isn't it, your father had it specially made for you" my mother says. "Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe this piece of art", she says as she gives her mother a platypus bear hug. "Thanks mom, I will treasure it always!".
I run out of my tent anxious to show Kika my gift. I pass 3 tents until I reach hers. I burst in without even bothering to acknowledge my presence. "KIKA, KIKA, KIKA", I holler trying to get her attention away from the warriors. "Shh Kenna, I'm trying to spy on the warriors!" "Well, you're not doing a very good job at it," I retorted. "Uggggg, fine". "Ok, what do you notice that is different about me," I asked. "Uhhhhh ….. I'm guessing you got more sleep". "NO, NO!, look at my hands". Her eyes dart all over my hands until they find what I am trying to point out. "Oh my spirits, Kenna, its breath-taking! Who gave this to you?" she exclaimed. "My parents gave it to me, isn't it just gorgeous?" "DUH" she replied. "I can't wait to show it to everybody at my party!"
*As you know, the Southern Water tribe is known for its celebrations! So everybody expects the best for their princess. All day long preparations were being made for the wonderful night to come. Little do they know, that its will be a night to fear!*
