Eternal Snow

Thur cold afternoon, a man in a grey coat walked up a stone path to under a blossoming tree where a grave stood. There he stood with tears in his hands trailed his younger daughter with burnett hair with blue eyes like her mother. The instance his mouth and closed bnut he sighed and and sang a small tune:

As I look at you,

You remind the day we met.

How I fell in love with you.

It was the first day of spring.

The wind blew the sweet scent of the cherry tree

As your sleek hair flew.

For it was sleek as the gold rays

While you're blue eyes shine in the light

On your bonny face.

The sight to me was irresistible.

For the moment you smiled,

It was like my heart stop beating.

I knew what it meant.

I was in love!

As time opened its arms,

The snow fell as you looked up in the sky.

For you fell with a thump

I came over to find what was wrong,

To find you as a stiff corpse of the frozen mane.

I weep for your death.

My heart which was once warm from your love

Was hard cold ice.

I watched over you by your grave

For I lay by your side waiting,

Waiting for time to take me with you.

As snow fell, it reminded me you

And how painful love can really be.

It was an eternal snow without you.
