The train was carrying at least 100 passengers. Six of which were Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Winry Rockbell, Envy, Pierce Sexton, and Ellie Rose. The train ride hadn't been as smooth as hoped because Pierce had told Ed he was stronger than him. Knowing the complete mechanics of Ed's arm Winry took Ed's side. Though Ellie, being the most stubborn of the six refused to believe this. Pierce and Ed had an arm wrestling match that lasted at least 10 minutes, with each second filled with insults and cussing.
After Ed defeated Pierce Ellie was steamed. Winry smugly told her that she knew Ed would win. Pierce was still cussing out Ed when Ellie challenged Winry to an arm wrestling match to prove some point. The boys did most of the cussing while Ellie and Winry kept their eyes on the other. Ellie gritted her teeth and Winry began sweating.
Soon the boys were getting bored, but because Ellie and Winry were so self-absorbed neither one would give up. Alphonse sat quietly fearing he would just turn their anger on him and Envy stared out the window completely unaware of what was happening. Suddenly Ellie's hand slammed down on the table with Winry's hand on top of it. Winry grinned smugly at Ellie and Ellie just stared back in disbelief.
As the two girls were yelling insults at each other the train came to a stop. By the time the six of them got off the train Pierce, Ed, Ellie, and Winry didn't want to see each other. Alphonse and Envy knew it was going to be a long vacation filled with anger and disgust.
