Carly crossed her arms.

"I am not going anywhere," she said, "You are not taking me away from my family. You are not taking me away from my friends and you are NOT taking me away from Icarly. You are not taking me away from Spencer. I am staying right here."

"Carly, Spencer is not responsible enough to take care of you. He doesn't even discipline you."

"Spencer talks with me and I listen to him. I have complete respect for my brother and that's all that is needed."

"Listen Carly I'm not going to argue with you. You are coming with me and that's that. Now lets go"

"I am not going and that's that," Carly said, "You can yell. You can get mad. I don't care. I will sit right on that couch and not move."

"You used to love visiting me and your grand-mom"

"I used to love playing dolls with Renee," Carly said, "But that doesn't mean I want to live in my barbie dreamhouse. Look grand-dad I love you but my life is not the same as it was before the accident. Spencer has raised me ever since I was 4 years old. You know that I love you. I look up to you and I will always love you but I am not leaving the life that I have come to know"

"Fine," Grand-dad said, "I thought that you love me and enjoy being with me"

"Resorting to guilt," Freddie said putting his hands on his hips.

"Young man you may be the most wonderful young man in the world but you will do well to remember the fact that you have no cause to disrespect your elders," grand-dad said.

"Carly is not doing this to offend you," Freddie said, "You are her grandfather and she loves you. She's just not the same person she used to be. She lives here now and she has family here."

"She has family in Yackama too," Grand-dad pointed out.

"She has friends here. She has school here. She has ICarly here"

"I don't know," Grand-dad said

"I'm not leaving," Carly replied firmly, "and if you try to make me I'll run away"

Grand-dad sighed and gave up.

"Fine," he said, "But Spencer I'm going to check up on you all the time"
