You rushed into the house, taking off your coat (why did you buy the one without the hood? You thought to yourself) and shook your hair, spraying droplets of water everywhere. You walk into the kitchen, and Phil rushes up to you, kissing you softly on the lips before asking you how your day was.
'Eh, could've been better…' you respond, with tiredness in your voice.
Phil leaned over to you, and said 'I love you. Remember that, okay? When people get you down, just remember that after that, you'll be around someone who loves you more than anything in the world. Okay?' He kisses you softly once more, before inviting you to the table.
'I made you your favourite!' He says with a smile. 'Chicken dippers in barbecue sauce with wings, cooked just how you like it!'
You tuck in; the room goes silent as you appreciate Phil's amazing cooking.
Afterwards, you go to put the plates away in the dish-washer. Before you can get there, Phil whisks you up onto your feet, and twirls you around, laughing along with you as you dance around the kitchen to the newest Imagine Dragons song.
Tired out, and achy from laughing so much, you retire to the Living Room, where you both turn on the TV and don't really pay attention to anything that's happening on it.
You rest your head on Phil's shoulder, and he says to you 'I'm glad I met the best person in my life so early on. I can't wait to grow old with you, and be forever with you. I love you.'
'I love you too, Phil' you say, and then gently kiss. You both slowly fall asleep, gently, resting in each-other's arms.
THE END
