The next planet was inhabited by an Aspie. The Aspie was sad, because he was lonely. Or maybe he was happy, because he hated talking to people. He didn't know.

"Why are you lonely?" - the Little Prince asked.

"Because I have Asperger's Syndrome." - the Aspie answered.

"And what is Asperger's Syndrome?" - the curious boy asked.

"Aspergers is a really funny disorder." - the Aspie said.

"Why do you find it funny? There's nothing funny in it." - the Prince said.

"Aspergers is a disorder where the people are really happy, or very unhappy. And you don't know which group you currently belong to." - the Aspie answered the Prince's question.

"So, are you happy, or not? Because I have a rose, and a little sheep, and I'm happy." - the Prince remarked.

"Here's the problem. I don't understand this, it's too hard for me. I can't decide whether I'm happy or not" - the Aspie replied to the Prince's question.

"So, why I'm happy?" - the boy asked.

"Because you are neurotypical." - the Aspie pointed out.

"What does neurotypical mean?" - the Prince asked.

"You don't have Aspergers, so you are neurotypical. And that's why you are happy." - the Aspie responded.

"So, if there will be a cure for Aspergers, will you be happy?" - the curious boy asked.

"No, I wouldn't be myself without my Aspergers." - the Aspie said.

"But you would be neurologically typical, or something like that. And then you will be happy. Right?" - the Little Prince remarked.

Aspie tried to respond, but couldn't find an answer.

"Grown-ups are really, really odd. Especially the ones with Asperger's Syndrome." - the boy thought as he continued his journey to the next planet.
