Angel A maximum ride novel:
In Angel, Fang becomes the leader of a new flock. Ratchet, Star, Kate, Holden and Maya help him try to stop an evil organization called the Doomsday Group. When he realizes he can't take them down on his own, he enlists the help of Max's Flock. Max and Fang seem to grow apart and start to like different people. After the planned D-day, Fang leaves with his flock.

At the end, Angel is thought to be dead by the flock after an explosion. Fang, Gazzy, and Angel go underground to disable a bomb, and Fang and Gazzy get out. The last pages of the book are Angel's predicament, where she is trapped someplace with a voice speaking to her.
