"Woah...it's bloody cold. But thank god. Winter's finally come..." She kept walking. She liked the weather like this. She adored going for walks along here. "Maybe I should have told him..before he left. Now he'll never know..and I'll go on like this." She turned and made for the warmth of the school.
Just
when the days start getting colder,
I walk the streets I never
knew
There's some words I never told you,
The sound rings out
like the truth
"Fool.. why didn't you tell him? Now you're all alone." She began climbing the tower steps. She began searching her bag.
And
if you could see what's come over me
Then you would know
Cause
I'm walking free
The wind at my back
Bathed in afterglow
"If only.." Her hand closed around a small round jewellery box.
And
as I sit here in this dark room
All I seem to feel is light
And
I see color
I see the maroon
Of the blood in this life that's
ours
She now sat on the cold stone floor. She'd found the razor after all. Two single crimson lines immerged...and grew.
And
if you could see what's come over me
Then you would know
Cause
I'm walking free
The wind at my back
Bathed in after..
She'd thought she could survive without him. Pity she couldn't. The razor fell to the floor. So did she.
...Watch
the sun. It paints an orange sky.
Lay me down and see the days has
gone by
...Where had it all gone wrong?
And
if you could see what's come over me
Then you would know
Cause
I'm walking free
The wind at my back
Bathed in afterglow
Well, that doesn't matter now. Not anymore.
..Finally she was free..
"Lily!" James burst into the Astronomy Tower. Lily lay, spread-eagle position, on the floor. Blood seeped out all around her. Quite ironically the blood made the vague shape of a pair of wings; her hair created her halo. An angel...The angel who'd commited the last mortal sin a person can commit. James fell to his knees next to her. He'd already spotted the scars..the wounds...the razor. How had he let it come to this?
...He hadn't meant to hurt her this much.
