A/N: Sorry, this chapter may seem like it's a direct copy of the original Ninjago episode. Don't worry, things are going to change soon.

"Alright. This should keep us concealed for a while." Lloyd announced as he glanced at the monastery in the distance, the wheels of his bike crunching as he slowed down, riding along the small gravel road leading up to the gates.

The cold air rustled the trees, causing the blond to shiver, and he looked around and saw that the sun was halfway set, casting shadows through the forest.

"Uhm, Lloyd." Jay piped up from Lloyd's radio. "If you, uh, somehow couldn't tell, we don't all have small little bikes like you."

The blue ninja drove behind the blond, his engine humming, the large off-terrain vehicle pushing the branches of the trees that aligned the path, causing the trees to sway and the sound of cracking wood to fill their ears.

"Well, at least try, Jay." Cole's voice came up from somewhere to Jay's left and back, and Jay could hear the sound of Cole's mech slamming its feet into the ground as it thundered down the trail.

"Yeah." Lloyd turned to better see the blue ninja. "We don't have many other options."

"Ugh." Jay rolled his eyes, but didn't say any more. He veered off the path, driving behind some trees, and killed the engine, before opening the cockpit hatch and crawling out. He landed on his feet, and swayed a little, before stretching and looking for the others.

The sound of engines filled his ears once more, and he looked up to see Kai and Zane landing their jets on the path, followed by Nya in her Samurai X mech. Jay pretty much had to cover his face he was blasted in the face by hot air from all the engines.

The thrusters died down, the wings and flaps resting down from their flight positions. There was a hiss of released air, as the hatch of the cockpits lifted.

The two ninja and the samurai all jumped out of their respective vehicles, the gravel crunching underneath their feet.

The next few minutes, the squad spent trying to conceal their vehicles with branches and bushes. If anything, it seemed to make the vehicles even more visible, with over excessive amounts of leaves and branches piled over the metal.

After they were satisfied enough, they met in the middle.

"Glad to see we all made it." Kai nodded to the rest of them, then let out a chuckle. The squad erupted into nervous laughter.

"Yeah, I guess." Cole shrugged, before turning to glance the monastery that was seated at the top of the hill, in front of a small waterfall that gently fell from a cliff. Gentle gold light emanated from the paper windows surrounded by the cold gray bricks.

"Anyways, we need to get moving."

"Hey, wait." Lloyd stopped him as the raven haired began to walk. Cole halted, then turned to face the blond with a confused expression. The wind picked up, setting rock debris into their faces.

"My dad...doesn't allow weapons in his monastery." Lloyd told him. The ninja glanced at each other, conflicting glances clashing with one another.

"But...the Techno Blades..." Jay murmured, glancing at the rest of the crew with growing worry. "We can't just leave them here!"

"But they're not even weapons!" Kai protested immediately. "Come on guys, we can't just expect to leave them-"

"Guys." Zane spoke up. Everyone turned to face him.

"I...can watch after them. You guys go on ahead." The blond suggested.

All looks of concern melted into expressions of relief.

Immediately, the ninja all piled up their weapons into Zane's waiting arms, the white ninja stumbling underneath the weight, trying to keep the Techno Blades from falling out of his arms.

"Thanks, Zane."

"Yeah man, you're a lifesaver!"

"We won't be gone for long, promise!"

Zane could hear as their footsteps recede down the path, their chattering and noises eventually dying down until the blond was met with silence.

Sighing, the blond placed the Techno Blades down on the grass, all in front of him as he sat down, and leaned his back against the trunk of a tree. He glanced up at the monastery in the distance, and let out a sigh.

Zane calculated that around 30 minutes had passed since the ninja had entered into the monastery. He glanced down at the Techno Blades, watching as the gold surface glistened in the moonlight.

The cold air ran its icy fingers through his hair as the wind picked up. Although there wasn't a need to, Zane curled up, watching the foliage swayed in the breeze. The wind rustled in his ears.

Zane glanced up to face the monastery once more, the light from the windows illuminating through the darkness.

He glanced back at the Techno Blades that were laid down in front of him.

His heart skipped a beat.

They weren't there.

He let out a gasp, as he scrambled to his feet, and glancing out from behind the tree. He frantically glanced around, trying to spot out whoever stole the blades.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a flash of movement. He pulled his scarf over his mouth and nose, and took off running, thundering towards the thief. He could hear his breath in his ears, and the thud as his feet met the ground with every stride.

Soon enough, he caught up to the thief. He lunged, aiming to tackle them to the ground. He slammed into them, and the two went sprawling. They collided with the gravel, and Zane winced as the butt of a blade jammed into his shoulder. There was a clatter as the Techno Blades all fell to the floor.

Grumbling, he got to his feet, glaring as the thief turned to look at him.

"Wh- Pixal?" Zane asked, eyes widening. "What..what are you doing here?"

Pixal's cold red gaze glared into his, staring down into his soul. Her lips parted into a snarl, and she hissed.

"Discontinuing an old droid." She responded. She lunged at Zane, hands aiming for his neck.

The blond stumbled back, and swung a punch. He connected with the side of Pixal's face, and she slammed into a tree. She screamed, then got up before Zane kicked and dug his shin into her stomach.

"Sorry." Zane murmured as the female droid went slack. He managed to bound her wrists behind her back with his scarf, and lifted her up to her feet.

She seemed to stir as soon as she stood. She soon got to her senses, and began to thrash around, screaming and trying to bite at him.

It made taking her to the monastery even harder than it already was.

The ninja had already gathered at the monastery doors once they heard the screaming.

"It's Pixal!" Kai pointed out as the blond dragged the silver haired up the path.

"What the hell is she doing here?" Cole asked.

"Why don't we take her apart to find out?" Kai pushed past Cole, brushing against his shoulder. He stalked towards the two, before Zane held out a hand to stop him.

"Please. It was in her programming. She holds many answers. Perhaps there's another way to get answers out of her." Zane protested. He dropped the Techno Blades onto the ground, and gripped his blade in his hand. With a small hum, the ice blue blade faded onto the golden shaft.

"No!" Garmadon called out. "I-"

"Na uh uh!" Jay placed a hand onto his shoulder, stopping him mid-walk. "Ain't a weapon, only hacks into things."

Turning, Zane placed the tip of the blade onto Pixal's forehead as her snarl widened. There was a slight pause, then her eyes flickered back to their usual green colour. She gasped, and took a few steps back.

"What happened? Where am I?" She demanded, glancing around, her face showing growing confusion.

"You were under the nindroid's control." Zane explained as he untied her. She wrung her sore wrists, glancing around at the ninja that stood behind him.

"How did you find us?" Zane questioned.

"They have Wu. Cryptor...he knows all of your hiding places." Pixal explained. She rubbed her arms as the wind seemed to pick up once more.

"My brother!" Garmadon's raised in concern, and he stepped forward, his hands tightening around his staff. "Is...he.."

"He's alright." Pixal confirmed, nodding. "It's just-"

She froze, and immediately stopped talking. She let out a small gasp, before glancing at Zane. All the ninja seemed to tense up.

"What?" Zane asked, his heart speeding up once more. "What is it?"

"I...didn't come alone." Pixal responded, startled. "There's nindroids-"

A large cackle echoed through the air. The ninja all picked up their weapons, glancing around, looking for the source.

There was a flicker on the roof, as a nindroid faded right into existence, unsheathing the katana from his back. All the ninja tensed, and picked up their Techno Blades, ready for battle.

About a dozen more nindroids uncloaked from around them. They all laughed, jeering at the closely knitted circle of ninja with metal sticks.

With a cry, all the nindroids rushed forward, screaming for blood.
