A/N: Hey y'all! This story was requested by Leah, who wanted a fic where Mikey tore up something of Mac's, but gets forgiven later on! Hope you enjoy, sweetie! Thanks for all the feedback! Enjoy!

"Ok, Mikey. I've gotta go run some errands. I'll be right back, so don't cause trouble while I'm gone, 'k?" Mac asked the eight month old agouti husky with a pointed look. The blonde trusted his dog enough to stay out of his crate while he was away (although Bozer didn't know that), but he still felt it was necessary to lay the ground rules just in case the typical puppy attitude wanted to make an appearance.
With an affirmative bark from the wolf-like pup, Mac nodded and closed the door.
Officially leaving Mikey to his own devices.
Mikey looked around from his place at the front door. Taking notice to all the chewable things that would be really fun to play with, but he also knew he shouldn't. Mac would be mad at him if he did that, Mikey knew that much.
But it was just so tempting.
Oh boy.
Mikey didn't quite register the tearing stitches on the pillows, nor the sudden burst of feathers and fuzz that quickly littered the sofa and the floor. He didn't even really think much of it when he jumped up on the coffee table and knocked off the centerpieces, glass shards going everywhere. But the best thing he did was when he went into the bathroom and grabbed the toilet paper and started running around the house with it in his mouth. Mikey vaguely remembered hearing furniture fall over as he ran through, over and under tables and chairs and jumped over the back of the sofa.
Next was the kitchen. Luckily for him, the bar stool that Mac had occupied that morning during breakfast was still turned outwards. It took little effort for the medium sized husky to jump up and on to the counter. His nails clicked as he walked along the granite countertop over to the fruit bowl. He gave the fruit a suspicious sniff. The last time he did this, the fruit was all fake. Not very fun to try and eat. Mikey's tail wagged when he found they were real and dove in to fish out the peaches and nectarines. The fruit was a little soft and amazingly sweet as it traveled down his throat. Peach juice and small chunks of fruit painted his paws and the counter. When half of the fruit bowl was gone, Mikey jumped down, spreading the sticky fruity mess all over the floor.
With his belly full and mind tired out from all the excitement, Mikey made his way over to his bed for a nice long nap. He curled up into a tight ball, his tail wrapping around his body like a long scarf. He sighed contently as he closed his eyes, attempting to fall into dream land until Mac got homeā¦.
Wait.
What was that?
Mikey's hand snapped back up, listening intently. It was only when his keen hearing picked up muffled conversation outside did Mikey finally snap out of it and realization of what he's just done began to seep in.
Mac was home.
Crap.
He was in sooooo much trouble.
Mikey started to whine, his anxiety levels off the charts when the door unlocked and finally opened. Mac came in first, followed shortly after by his partner.
"Hey Mikey! We're you a- What the hell?! Mikey! What did you do?!"
Mikey tried wagging his tail to lessen the sting of things, but it obviously did little help. If the furious look of Mac's face was anything to go by. Jack whistled lowly.
"Damn. Looks like you got some explainin' to do, pal."
Mikey almost winced in sympathy when Mac turned his fiery eyes on Jack. "Jack?"
Jack nodded and took a step back, hands up in surrender. "Shutting up."
"And as for you," Mac turned back to his beyond guilty husky. "Cage. Now."
Mikey didn't need another push before he practically ran into his kennel. Curling up into a ball of guilty misery. He didn't mean to make Mac so mad. He was just trying to have some fun. Now he ruined everything. Including Mac's trust in him, probably.
Mikey whined as he laid his head down. What did he do?

Meanwhile, back out in the destroyed living room, Mac and Jack were busy at work trying to clean up the mess. Jack in the kitchen while Mac picked up the living room as best he could. Jack didn't say anything the whole time, though he seriously felt like he needed to. Wasn't this kinda his fault in a way? He was the one to get the dog after all. Yeah, sure. All puppies go through their own chewing stages, but he still couldn't shake the feeling that he was was partially responsible.
"I can't believe he did this! I mean, I'm gone for half an hour! He can't just sit still and be good for thirty minutes?" Mac ranted as he tidied up what he could. "He's never done this! I never really put him in his crate because I thought I could trust him. But I guess I was wrong. Oh, what am I gonna tell Bozer?"
Jack took that as his queue to speak up. He stopped scrubbing a really sticky spot on the counter to give his younger partner his full attention. "Ya can't get too mad at him, Mac. He's young. Puppies do stupid stuff."
Mac glared. "Yeah. Easy for you to say. This isn't your house. These aren't your things that have been ripped to shreds!"
Jack completely stopped what he was doing and crossed over to where Mac was at and grabbed the kid's shoulders. Mac looked up at him, fire still in his eyes.
"Look, if you wanna blame somebody, blame me. I was the one to get'cha that dog, so technically this is kinda my fault. So on Mikey's behalf, I'm sorry, kiddo."
Mac's eyes soften some. "I don't hate him, Jack. And I don't blame you for this, nor do I regret you getting him for me. I love Mikey. I just...never thought he'd do something like this. He's always so well behaved and...I don't know. Maybe this is all my fault. I handed him too much responsibility too fast and he finally just broke."
Jack smiled a little and patted his shoulder. "How about we just split the blame three ways?"
Mac grinned. "Sure, Jack."
Jack looked off to the side for a moment. "I think a certain somebody would like to make amends now." The Delta said with a suggestive tilt of his head. Mac looked as well to see Mikey sitting there with a guilty look on his face. Ears back and tail wagging as he gave the two his best set of puppy eyes yet. Mac smiled and asked Mikey to come over, which the husky happily did without further command.
"I know you're sorry, Mikey. I forgive you, buddy."
Jack laughed when the agouti husky jumped up and started to attack Mac with kisses while his thick tail thumped against the couch in pure happiness that his little blonde genius forgave him.
