Kagome stretched after she slowly got out of her sleeping bag. The sun wasn't even up yet and she didn't feel like waiting for Inuyasha so she decided to waste some time. She was wearing black shorts with a gray skin-tight tank top. Using her heightened senses she made her way to the ocean. She didn't think that they were this close but she wasn't complaining. Looking around she checked for any intruders and when she found none she pulled off her clothes and wearing nothing but her black undies and jumped into the water. When Kagome was deep enough, she felt her legs slowly start to change into fins. It felt amazing! The water was so clear that she could see almost everything perfectly! When Kagome knew that her tail had formed completely she pushed all her troubles out of her mind and set herself free! The next thing that happened was magic. Kagome swam straight for the bottom of the ocean and then she curved her body and started to swim hard and fast! When she broke through the surface of the water she still kept on going. Then when she finally stopped moving upward she slowly lowered her arms to her side and arched her body and then her fins went away and beautiful translucent (fairy textured) angel wings caught the suns first rays of light.

Standing out of site, in the trees, stood an inu-youkai. In awe he watched this amazing performance. He had been looking for his sons when he stumbled upon this scene. He was a demon of immense power and age so he had seen some pretty sites in his time but none of that could even compare to this!

Before Kagome could even start coming back down she raised her wings and pushed them against the air. Gracefully she flew right over the water unit finally she aimed straight up. The clouds were getting closer and closer but she didn't dare look down. She just kept on going and going until finally…she could touch the sky. Kagome stopped moving her wings entirely and just fell. She was beautiful! Words couldn't describe the happiness that was pouring out of her. When she was right above the water she stiffened her wings and they filled with air and carried her right across the water. Then she back flipped slowly and gracefully. In midair she straightened her body and put her arms out in front of her.

When she entered the water and left the demons sight he almost felt a sense of loneliness. For the next five minutes he waited. His beast refused to let him leave, he wanted her, craved her, and in some way…he needed her. But he didn't understand all that right now.
