I was born with a special ability, one as rare as a shiny Mew and only gifted to exceptional Eevees. I was rare by myself, but what made me 10 times more rare was the fact that my brother was also born with this ability. We were of the same litter, and with us both, we were worth catching 10 shiny Mews in a row. But, as my mother warned us when we were little, we had to keep our ability hidden. Because bad humans wanted us. What trainer didn't want a rare pokemon on their team? What scientist didn't want an interesting test subject to practice and experiment on? And what organization didn't want a powerful pokemon to help them reach their goals? I was quiet-natured and liked curling up with a good book at recess rather than playing with the other pokemon, so it was fairly easy for me to hide my talent. But my brother was rash-natured and flaunted his talent every chance he got, never listening to my cries or Mother's warnings. It ultimately led to his ability being found out and him captured. They tested his power and performed dastardly experiments I cannot even speak of. When they reached a conclusion that he was powerful and something to be prized, they erased his memories and made him their little slave, the perfect war machine. I wasn't strong enough to save him at that time and I still am not strong enough. But I have always held onto the dream that he would rescued someday and we could be together again. It may already be too late but I held that dream in the deepest depths of my heart ever since he was captured. My only hope is that the stars have foretold that now, once again, an Eevee with this ability is about to be born…..
