I was walking home from skool when I saw him. He was talking to his sister,Gaz. She didn't look very interested. She was busy with her game slave. That was the way it had always been. It had been 6 years since I had arrived on earth and 2 years since I had found out that my mission was just a plan that the Tallest had made so they wouldn't have to deal with me anymore. I decided that their was nothing I could do but stay here on earth. I had dedicated my whole life to a planet that hated me. How could I have been so stupid? I hadn't told anyone about it yet. But who was there to tell? When I got to my house I opened the door and saw GIR running around in his disguise. When he saw me he came running over and hugged me then ran upstairs to find his piggy. I walked in and sat on the couch. A second later GIR came running back down the stairs and ran into the kitchen screaming "I MADE TAQUITOS!". Advanced, yeah right . I got up and was about to go down to my lab when I heard a knock. I walked over to the door to see Dib standing on my porch. "Hey Zim." "Oh hey Dib." I said "Zim can I stay over here for a little while" he asked. "Uh, sure I guess." I answered. "Thanks" said Dib "My Dad's in his lab and I'm not sure where Gaz is so there's not really anyone to talk to." "It's pretty lonely around here too." I said wishing he could know all the things I've ever wanted to tell him... Dib walked inside and sat on the couch. I walked over and sat next to him. I looked out the window. It had started to rain. I looked over at Dib who was looking down at the floor. I looked over at him, just say it Zim. "Hey look it's raining." said Dib as he watched the raindrops slowly fall from the sky. That cursed liquid. I guess I was going to have to bathe in paste again. A couple hours later as the sky began to darken the rain fell harder. As I was watching the rain a flash of light came down from the sky and dissapeared. I jumped back at the sight of this mysterious brightness. I wrapped my arms around Dib's waist. "Wh-what was that?" I asked him as I heard a loud rumbling noise and more light flashes came down. "It's ok Zim it's just lightning." Dib said laughing. "Lightning?" I squeezed Dib tighter as another flash came down. Dib smiled. He wrapped one arm around me and stroked my antennae. This moment was perfect. No matter how much I hated it,I loved Dib. I needed Dib. I didn't understand. It was beyond my control. I looked up at him "I like you Dib." I said. He just smiled
