Time was a strange thing to Noah. He always seemed to have to much of it... until now that is.
He sat and watched her strange optimistic nature as the minutes ticked away, hiding behind the cover of a book. He raised his eyebrow at her enthusiasm and compassion, stared at the way everything was just right in her little world of fun and good cheer.
Alice, what a sweet, plucky name. Why did she torment him with her long golden locks and electric blue eyes. He was at a loss as to why stupid little things like knee-high socks, pig-tails and sunglasses without lenses looked perfect on her.
The blondes people-oriented nature would make him assume she was like every other blonde little ditz that roamed the school...Kind of like a Lindsay clone if you think about it...but not this one, her impulsive, out-going side seemed like it was crazy but at the same time completely controlled.
The side he was seeing now as she stood next to Heather on the balls of her feet spinning, dodging balls left right and center as she performed what looked like a very bad ballet with her lease-less glasses bouncing on her nose making her look that little bit sillier.
There was so much to observe and discover about her, he must pace his time wisely.
But of course he had plenty. There was no way they would send him home until at least the merge. Anyone with half a brain could easily see he was an asset!
...With that being said he was doomed.
Noah watched as she bounded up to him expecting some kind of hug or whatever it is teens do this day and age.
There is hardly enough time now, not to mention they were polar opposites... he may as well just give up. Besides like there wasn't ditsy girls at home he could study! He could probably go though every school stereotype in the book thanks to his siblings alone!
What he wasn't expecting was a kiss. A light peck on his cheek right before the boat took of.
"See you next season Noah!"
Give up? No. Time to resort to plan B.
