Ghost

Tegan woke up and immediately squinted her eyes to the TV in front of her to adjust to the brightness in front of her. She stretched her limbs from laying on her side on her couch and noticed the blanked that completely covered her body. Initially, she didn't fall asleep with it on. Must've been Sara, who has been staying here with Tegan for a little while just because. Tegan smiled and snuggled into the blanket and closed her eyes to welcome more sleep, until she heard a glass mug being set down on her kitchen table, then the flip of a page. Sara's still awake. Tegan sat up just enough on the couch to where she could look over the back of it. She found Sara at the table, with coffee and a book in front of here.

"What time is it, Sara?" Tegan asked as she laid back down onto the couch.

"About midnight." Sara said before finishing off the remainders of coffee in the mug.

Tegan brought her knees closer to her body, after she rolled onto her side. She heard the wooden chair slide against to wooden floor, Sara walking further into the kitchen before turning on the faucet to rinse out the cup. The water stopped running after a moment then Tegan heard Sara walk over to into the living room then finally sit on the couch next to Tegan. Sara reached over to the coffee table and picked up the remote and searched through the channels before stopping on a movie that helped inspire Sara's most recent haircut.

Tegan let out a sigh. "Ghost, really?"

Sara set the remote down on the table and eased back. "I thought you liked this movie though?"

Tegan stared at the opening titles. "I do, but I don't think you're going to last through this movie much longer."

"You're probably right." Sara yawned before crossing her arms together.

Tegan sat up and leaned against the arm of the couch. "You cold?"

Sara looked over to Tegan and slightly smirked. "A little bit, yeah."

Tegan took the blanket off of her and laid it across Sara's legs. "Here, I have a sweater and some pants on while you're clearly ready for bed." Tegan said noting Sara's tight t-shirt and boy-shorts.

Sara meekly smiled. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." Tegan stated as she leaned into the arm again and turned to the TV but wasn't planning on becoming too invested in it. She imagined Demi Moore as Sara throughout the movie. Tegan looked over to Sara, during the clever and somewhat funny parts just to watch her smile and laugh.

Around 1:30 in the morning Tegan could defiantly see that Sara was about to fall asleep, and Tegan thought that it was pretty adorable. Sara yawned, closed her eyes and brought the blanket up to her shoulders.

"You want to go to bed Sara?" Tegan whispered quietly just in case Sara was already asleep.

She didn't respond. Tegan sat up and lightly kissed Sara's jaw line, rousing her from her light sleep.

"Tee? Why'd you kiss me?" Sara said sort of blushing.

Tegan smiled confidently. "I wanted to know if you want to go to bed."

Sara blushed. "Uhm…sure. But only if you're with me."

Tegan chuckled. "What happened to you kicking me out of my bedroom and out here to sleep on the couch?" She laid back down into the couch.

Sara nibbled on her bottom lip as she looked up and down Tegan's body. Sara crawled across a laid out Tegan and brought the blanket with her. She draped it over the both of them then nuzzled into Tegan's neck, entwined their legs together before finally letting out a long sigh.

"Only if I'm with you, huh?" Tegan whispered as she held onto Sara's waist over the blanket.

Sara didn't respond. She fell asleep already. Tegan kissed the top of Sara's head before she soon fell asleep herself.
