I just wanted to write this little one-shot!
They were in the Santa Barbra Police Department, Shawn Spencer or now Patrick Jane was in his hometown and he had just solved a murder. The CBI team walked into the department Shawn/Patrick had changed. He now had blonde hair but kept his eyes the same color and he worked with a smaller team. Patrick had his eyes on Juliet's desk Juliet just happened to be his Ex-Girlfriend.
"Jane!" His partner Teresa Lisbon pinched him.
"Ow Lisbon that hurt," he winced rubbing his arm.
"You need to pay attention to these nice detectives," she motioned to Lassiter and Juliet.
"Sorry you are?" he asked Wayne Rigsby laughed.
"Jane can pay attention to little details but not to two people in front of him." Rigsby joked. Lassiter and Juliet just watched the exchange.
"Really Rigsby? How else would I know that you and Grace had a little get together this morning?" Jane told putting his hands in his pocket. Grace blushed and Rigsby's face turned red with anger.
Teresa Lisbon stopped the exchange before it got messy.
"Hey it's been a long week we leave in 5 minutes last that long please!" she told her team. Cho, Grace and Lisbon walked out of the station Jane stayed inside.
"Spencer is that you?" Carlton Lassiter asked.
"Jane!" Lisbon called. Jane looked behind him and saw Lisbon tapping her watch he nodded. He turned back to the two detectives he walked backwards and winked at them. Then he turned and walked out of the Santa Barbra Police Department vowing to never come back.
