"Tokaku, Tokaku" Haru called out sleepily. Tokaku went outside for a jog and so she obviously could not hear the red head calling. Haru opened her eyes slowly, still half asleep and her visions were blurry. She looked around not finding Tokaku anywhere, she started to panic and tears started to well up. She started searching anywhere and everywhere in their apartment which they had moved to after she graduated. Her heart was wailing, aching and breaking. She searched everywhere, in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, on the balcony, everywhere. She couldn't find her beloved knight. She went back to her bed; she lay down and turned her head to where Tokaku's bed was. Her hands cupped together and her body wrap up.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, Tokaku was still sweating and breathing heavily after her jog, ran up to her queen with worry. She hugged her queen tight, placing one hand on the red head's hair and stroking her. She hated seeing her precious princess cry, she felt guilty. Tears streamed down the red head's face, hugging her knight back as tight as she could and nuzzled in to her chest. The warmth, the love from her protector, she could feel it.

"Haru, I'm so sorry for leaving you without telling, please forgive me. I vowed to protect you forever, until my last breath. I will die loving you, protecting you. I'm sorry, I won't do it again. I love you." Tokaku whispered softly enough for her queen to hear. She smiled weakly at her knight's words and her heart was racing. She was happy her girlfriend was back. The smaller woman looked up to her lover, her striking blue eyes were gleaming, she felt safe and home in her protector's arms. Tokaku kissed her girlfriend on her forehead softly, while stroking her silky red hair.

"Tokaku, I love you. I love you so much and I always will. I promise." Haru said with a soft, sweet tone at the same time looking in to her lover's beautiful eyes. Tokaku blushed, she looked away but Haru put her hand on her knight's cheek and Tokaku looked back, finding Haru was already staring at her, and kissed her knight gently once. The smaller woman backed away first but then continuing to hug her precious knight tightly, nuzzling in to her shoulder and Tokaku hugged her back tightly too.

"Haru, you mean the world to me do you know that? I wouldn't know what to do without you. I've never met such a sweet and caring person like you ever since my mum died. Thank you so much for coming in to my life and changing it completely. I've never been so happy, honestly. I can't thank you enough for everything, I love you." Tokaku blushed after saying that. She wasn't the type who would say such sweet and cheesy things to anyone, but this time, it was for her girlfriend, she knew it would make her angel happy if she did, so why not? Haru giggled and smiled brightly, not looking up to her knight just yet.

"Tokaku, Haru should be the one thanking you for protecting her all this time. She wouldn't be here without you, you know that right? You mean the world to her too, you're her everything. Haru loves you so much." Haru said quietly, embarrassed from what her knight had said earlier. "I love you most, Ichinose Haru."
