War. It seems to be the only thing that remains constant no matter where in the galaxy you go to. The universe has never seen real peace. Any period where war and death do not reign supreme merely is a façade meant to mimic happiness. Such was the fate of our home, Cybertron. There was a period during our Golden Age where peace and harmony seemed real. Every one of us found happiness in some fashion. However, this did not last. Every robotic organism was forced to pick sides with the rise of the Decepticons. Led by their proclaimed ruler, Megatron, the Decepticons brought the war to the land to show the strength of our natural powers.

We are an exceptional race of organisms in this world, for our bodies produce a unique chemical balance inside our very cores that spread throughout our blood, called Energon which is a distinct chemical itself, being unable to mix with Earth's pure Hydrogen chemical for the risk of explosion. With this chemical balance, we can manipulate things within the world around us to suit what we need. Each "power" is separated into different categories as it is more common to specialize or favor one type over the other. Agility. Strength. Defense. Healing. Psychic. Natural Elements. Speed. Even Light and Darkness have their own defined categories without being generically classified as "good" and "evil." These powers served a purpose for us to live out our daily routines without interruption and as we advance, so do our skills.

There were those who became so skilled, they became masters in more than one type of power, with the help of their own genetic codes. Their bodies became able to handle learning more than just one specific skill, and so we had labels to accommodate such talent. Those who master only one skill are Purist's, as they focused on being devoted to just one subject, and as the number of learned skills went up, their labels became representative of the powers they controlled. The Bi-nary Learners, Thrice Compendiums, Quadromages, Fifetan's, Sixven's, Septier's, Octaves, but the rarest of all of them, the true masters of all the powers were the Head Masters. But that was not the end of the chain of control. For the ones who excelled in not only high strength, but expert leadership and wisdom in practice, ascended to a level that surpassed the Head Masters, and were considered a level just below our God; Primus, and were thus named the Primes accordingly. A Prime did not need to be a master of all the powers but was required to show their prowess in their leadership and knowledge, as well as possess the ability to guide others in the direction of great enlightenment.

Megatron had tried to forcibly ascertain this elite status with raw skill but lacked the empathy of a kind and noble captain. Primes did not come from thin air, they were chosen by an artifact left by the God Primus himself, the Matrix of Leadership, which could re-balance the chemical construct inside a worthy soul to increase their skill level exponentially. He repeatedly tried to be chosen by this artifact, but after being rejected several times, he grew dark and cruel and decided to assert authority by force. He wanted to lead all Cybertron as the only leader, which divided the population in half into the ones who supported his cause and into the Resistance Members that fought back against his tyranny. Thus, the Cybertronian Civil War was unleashed on the world. Many lives have been lost as a result of this battle, and it is here that our story begins.
