Good Morning
.
It had only been a week after the wedding. As everyone knows, the period right after you get married you're constantly on Cloud Nine. However, these two, well, they were far above anything called Cloud Nine. Every day was warm and comforting, every word was sweet and playful. Mornings were actually his favorite.
She was his to hold sometimes, plus he was such a tease whenever he wanted. And since he teased her so, it made her purse her lips in annoyance and her cheeks burn red, which he loved seeing from time to time. However he had his serious side, as everyone also knew; but that side would be easily melted by the sight of her every morning. He could not help himself from enjoying the view of his own Snow White. Lying next to her in the bed, her head rested softly on soft, puffed pillow with her golden locks flowing beneath. Her expression was very gentle and peaceful, her skin seemed so very fresh.
The young man could not contain himself from his bride; he scooted near to her in the covers and one arm underneath her to told her closer. A small, but smug-like smile was on his lips as he lightly, and carefully, place his hand on her cheek. At just this small feeling, the honey-haired beauty's eyes flecked open. They widened as she noticed her groom to be so very close, holding her close to him like she was a teddy bear. She swallowed as both sides of her face tinted, his hand was still cradling her cheek.
The girl bit her lip and quickly grabbed hold of his hand in both of her small hands and used his palm to cover her eyes. She didn't want him to see her, see her so embarrassed and blushing. Well, it was practically too late since they were married, though. The black-haired boy, again, smiled a small smile at the appearance of his wife. Using his own hand to cover her eyes from him, what kind of trick was this?
He leaned in closer to her face, shut his own eyes and lightly pressed the hand already covering her eyes down a bit. The girl felt the pressure on her eyes and grabbed hold of his hand, trying to move it.
"Hey—!" She had started as she tried moving his hand away from her eyes, but she was already too late.
Again, she was too late. Her groom tenderly kissed her dry lips, after a moment or so he removed his hand from covering her eyes. He lifted his head up as he looked at his wife, who looked up at him with a stare of defeat.
"Why did yo—"
"Good morning," he interrupted her, with a small smirk. "I'm guessing I finally won."
